Thanks the feedback, everyone. I think I'll keep the 32GB, but add in a 4GB card and a few extra accessories. Hopefully this Vita will find a home a with a GAFer.
That's using your noodle! With the 4gb card, it is an excellent starter pack. Hopefully you can convert another gaffer. You're doing great work with that bundle, spreading the love, spreading the life!
What ? You mean the tourneys are real-time or something like that ? That's too bad T_T
Well in a way it's pretty cool but we substitute lag problems for time zones problems, like you said.
Apologies, I don't feel I detailed it out well enough. The MP I have played comes in a few flavors -
1. "New Real Mode" : Up to 8
Gafgolfers play on a course, at the exact same time. Each persons ball is represented as a brightly colored ball on your screen, but there is nothing that can affect your play, unless you get distracted by pretty colors easily

2. VS Mode : Up to 4 players, turn based, like the VS mode. Unless you have a party chat with close friends playing this, STAY AWAY. I did this a while back with 4 people, and 9 holes took close to 2 hours D:
3. Turn Based Challenge : One vs One only. One person sets up the course and rules, and then sends an invite to another player. Once that person accepts the challenge, the host will go first, once they hole out, you can send the play data plus a short comment to your opponent. A system/game notification will be sent to them, it has a slightly different look than a standard message. once the opponent gets the notification, they can launch the game and go to the match. Once loaded, the second player sees the first persons turn, and then they go. Once they hole out, the play data is sent, and then they move on to the next hole. AFTER the first hole is played by both, when your turn comes up, you usually watch your opponent, do your turn, and occasionally get to go to the next hole while you wait for your opponent to do the same. It's a lot like the mobile games Word With Friends, or Draw Something, with "push notifications".
So we can indeed get a full 8 player live tourney going, just gotta organize it!
