My wife just noticed that (in the US, at least) American Express has another $25 back if you spend $100 at the Sony store. If you have an Amex, you need to 'accept' the offer on their website before buying. I used this last year to pick up $100 worth of PSN credit for $75, and will do it again this year.

First of all, try to get a full party, or at least as many party members as possible. Get your future party in mind and start with the members that'll make the most difference at the beginning, starting with a damage dealer followed by a healer.

So I have a full party. I'm only like level ~14-15 though so perhaps I'm underleveled? I totally cruised through basically everything up to this fight.
You have a great party, it could be your equipments. Have you been getting good equipments from the seals?

They're okay. Not spectacular. I think I'm going to try to get to like level 18 and get a bit more vit on my assassin and mage so that they don't get instagibbed. Hopefully I'll get some new gear by then, too.

Yeah I've been making use of that spreadsheet for effective attribute point builds.
Think I'm going to get my healer to 18 for Divine Armor since that looks pretty damn good. Everything else seems fine though so I think you might be right that it's my gear.

Pretty much everyone stopped talking about it after the very underwhelming PC launch. The game still has a very long way to go.
edit: Oh, to clarify I was referring to the launch of the beta from last December. Still, progress has been quite slow and at times it seems as if the development team isn't sure what they want the game to be.

I think if you liked those three, you'll almost definitely enjoy Rogue Legacy. It's nothing revolutionary, but it's a solid game that takes elements from the games you listed.

And DXC, finally! Too bad that I missed it on the sale but will probably get it anyway, and it makes me happy that there's still hope for PSP games on PSN in the future for Europe.

It could be Remote Play, but I don't see a PS4 in that shot. Those are also development Vitas (notice the black trim) but that doesn't prove much as Lucid has worked on prior games on the handheld.

Thank you shizuka. My gear was absolutely the issue. both the gazer and my assassin were doing like 50% of their max dps. Also I think I got RNGed hardcore the first few times.

DRPGs are my favorite genre, but we'll be lucky if we even get Moero Chronicles next year. I'm buying every single DRPG released for the PSP/Vita/3DS.

That's sweet of you though. I'll keep it in mind if I need a rec.It's actually pretty good, at least for my play through. It ran much better than season 1 on Vita so I was pleasantly surprised. There were a few hiccups I noticed, but nothing to hinder playing it. I've had the same issues on the ps3 version of season 1, so it's nothing crazy. Got it during the last psn sale when it was $10. Patiently waiting for season 3.
That one's not too unlikely after how DG performed worldwide. It doesn't have the fanservice that DG had either so it'd probably have wider audience appeal (unless I'm underestimating how much DG sold off of fanservice).
I would think just on Black Friday, and maybe some overflow into Cyber Monday unless they do some lightning deals beforehand. Most of Amazon's Vita deals in the past have been price matches on BF deals from other sites. So far every major retailer's ad has been released except Gamestop's but nothing Vita yet.
Thanks, I guess I'll jump in then. If it's anywhere near replayable as the games I mentioned, I should easily get my money's worth.

The new fast forward feature in Spelunky Vita is really neat, and it's wonderful being able to see how others played the daily challenge. Extremely well executed.
