Take flight into the wizarding world when Quidditch Champions launches September 3, making its debut as part of September’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup. That same day*, all PlayStation Plus members** can also enjoy the thrills of making themselves a sporting legend on the diamond with MLB The Show 24, or attempt to survive a horror-themed adventure with Little Nightmares II.

Quidditch Champions* | PS4, PS5

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Quidditch by playing solo or sharing the magic with friends and family.

Live your Quidditch fantasy: take to the sky as one of the classic positions – Chaser, Seeker, Keeper or Beater – each with their own unique play style. Soar into legendary Quidditch arenas and new maps that showcase never-before-seen areas of the wizarding world. Take on Career Mode to progress from backyard battles in the Weasley Burrow to high-stakes showdowns at the Quidditch World Cup. Rise to become a champion either solo or in online co-op with teams of up to three friends, and launch into exhibition matches where you’ll set your teams, map and difficulty and play alone or on teams of up to three in online co-op. Or select player vs player to test your skills in competitive online matches against other Quidditch teams.

September is already packed with bigger titles, so I'll be enjoying those. Haven't heard of the titles outside of The Show, however.

Pretty meh month for me personally since I already played Little Nightmares 2, and I'm not interested in MLB24. I'm also not even sure if I'll try that Quidditch game.

The first time an MLB The Show title arrives on the service and it's an essential title and from this year... I'll take it.
I'm pretty sure we've gotten other ones in the past. I've got a couple in my library and I certainly wouldn't have purchased them.

Honest question: Does anyone outside the USA even play MLB? I've never seen a copy in Europe, and I don't know anyone who has played it.

Yes:

It's a month earlier this time. May not seem like very much at first glance, but considering the regular season ends in September I'd say adding it in September is much better than October. Everyone will have the game for final regular season push and all of playoffs now.

Please for the love of God stop giving us MLB games. This crap is going to shutdown in ~12 months. There's already like 6 or 7 MLB games bloating my plus library and I am pretty sure that none of them even work anymore.

Pretty sure baseball is pretty big in Japan and has a hold in places in Central and South America, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic.

Yeah it's a couple of weeks earlier. MLB 2019 released a week or two later than 2024.

What’s the latest The Show title in your library from PS Plus?

Just click "options" -> "hide" in library or something similar, that's what I do with all sports/spongebob games

All right so this is the third month in a row where I’ve bought a game for Switch, and a few days later it gets announced as a PS plus game. Time to stop buying games again.

What time is it?
I liked Little Nightmares enough to finish it and be interested in the sequel, but never enough to purchase it so that's something for me to look forward to.

Why are you adding the games in the first place?
If you don't want such games, it would be a clear sign to Sony not to redeem them. And no, you won't suddenly want to play them at some point in the future :D

Have a lot of love for mlb the show having said that closing mlb 2k, back yard baseball, slugfest, mvp, all star baseball games is just bad.

Game cube had 3 different mlb baseball game franchises for crying out loud.

Sony fanboys don’t have the stomach to admit it.
