Although random and probably not true, I could imagine a change in ToS being needed. Maybe Sony didn't expect such high penetration of users subscribing, and the current revenue shares aren't sustainable? Eg if Sony pays the developer based on number of subs rather than number of downloads. Or if lots of people 'buy' but don't download (just to put it in their download list), and sonys doesn't want to count those as active users?
