Playstation Plus Thread 2: How do I hold all these games?

It looks like
PqpmIuW.jpg

which was one of the first plus games

Pix the Cat is done by French devs Pastagames which worked on the Arkedo series ;-)

Dust and Spelunky lol? What an awesome way to introduce me to PS+, give me games I bought on PC a year ago for 2 dollars.

Basically if you own a PC, you are screwed, because all recently added titles on Plus are bundle games or heavy discounted titles on Pc.

This month, for example:
Spelunky 75% off on Steam
Dust bundled
Batman AA bundled
Dungeons 75% off and more on Amazon and Gamersgate

put the prices of everything together, just so we have a reference.

So because you own all these games, it means everyone else does?

Dust alone is worth the price of admission. One of the few games I miss from my 360. Im sure its crossbuy too so its going to look amazing on the oled vita.

Those are two separate statements. It's not a bad list because I own three of the games, it's a bad list and I own three of the games.

And the reason it's a bad list is because it has extremely low monetary value, and the quality of the games isn't high enough to make up for that.

And people worried that the PS+ offerings would suffer once it became multiplayer required on PS4 ;)

At least the sales are still great.

Man I heard of Dust but never really looked into it... good lord those character designs are fucking horrendous. Full on Deviantart furry status.

Spelunky is a god-tier game. That's why I already have it. :|

First month of absolutely nothing for me.

Just wait until you hear the voice acting.

I'm pretty sure that AA and Dust where in a tier 1 Humblebundle, so 1 dollar each.
Spelunky was 2.69€ on GOG
Dungeons was 2.73€ on Amazon

so it was still more expensive than a monthly rate of the yearly PS+. Of course, he you can't choose unlike the other way around.

Not the strongest month (if real) for sure.

Bunch of games I already bought, but never played... Hmm, I guess I really should stop hoarding digital games, even when they are on sale if I don't plan to play them right away.

At least there's Pix the Cat that's a completely new game (?). Never heard of it before, but I looked at the trailer and it looks really sweet!

And if you're complaining but never played Spelunky, stop complaining: you're getting one of the best games in recent years for peanuts. Play it, and love it.

PS+ is really underwhelming, but there aren't a lot of games to choose from on ps4 to offer up, mostly indie scraps and ports.

Wow, didn't expect GWG to start beating out Plus for me.
I'll check out the Vita and PS4 titles, but the only thing I'm even luke warm about is Spelunky.

I'm going to call it now; we're not going to see retail PS4 games period. It's going to be strictly indie titles every month.

Welcome to the PS+ Cycle Of Doom!

End of Month Nears, Discussion About Games
Games Come Out
Disappointment/Elation Commences

Mainly driven by what you have already bought or not. I almost bought D and D last month when it was on sale then I remembered my PS Plus rule and was like wait what am i doing. Now, BAM. So these all look good to me (except maybe PIX CAT) . Arkham Asylum had the better story. Hoping Spelunky will be cross download because thats another one i kept holding off on for Vita waiting for Plus.

Why do people think Sony is going to even take PC sales and availability into consideration with Plus. Most people aren't gaming on multiple platforms as much as GAF would have you believe otherwise.

Amen, brother. Month looks awesome to me. I've been a PS+ subscriber for like 3 months and I've enjoyed every single title. No way do I regret it, and I only own a Vita.

Dude Vita especially has been having some INSANE months on PS+ for the last few months. I've been playing my Vita almost exclusively in this time lol

I need to start bailing out of these threads before the indie hate starts.

Ya, that makes absolute sense. I own D&D on PC, but a PS3 version for free is quite nice. Spelunky will be cross-buy unless something changes radically.

Remember, this is in addition to #DRIVECLUB PS+ Edition too, right?

Someone posted this in a spanish forum (EU Europe PS+ October games)

Seems like a solid line up for the month :). The Pix the Cat game is going to be really great (as the developer did a very solid job with the Rayman Jungle/Fiesta Run games :D) and Splunky landing on PS+ for PS4 owners along with Dust is quite nice :).

Really hoped that the PS3 games would have been better picks :(. I own AA for a few years now and have no interest in the that Chronicles game sadly.....hoped that one of the EU Plus games was on their (NFS: MW or MGS: Rising).

At least the Vita and PS4 stuff is solid :).

Edit: Forgot about the DriveClub demo for PS4! Even though it is a demo, that still is a great game to put on PS+; everyone has a chance to check it out then :D. Also, this month they added the BF4 Trail (which lasts a full week) for PS3 owners, so I guess that can count as a extra game in a way :).
I think regarding retail games on PS4, we will see them next June as part of the 'big' event at E3 (sorta like how they announced the IGC their too).

Man I heard of Dust but never really looked into it... good lord those character designs are fucking horrendous. Full on Deviantart furry status.

I was turned off by the character art, too. Then I played the game for a bit. Amazing. Pretty sure it was the last 360 game I completed.

Love Spelunky. Will gladly take a PS4 version of it thanks :P

Less enthused by Dust. Didn't think much of it first time around, doubt it's improved since.

D&D is another I'll probably play and almost pulled the trigger on several times in the past, and Pix the Cat... well... I'll try it and see. Batman I've played on 360... so can take or leave here.

Decent enough month on the whole for me I'd say.

I can't believe some of you are still whining for whatever crap retail game they can throw on there just for the sake of having something that costs retail pricing though.

are you not paying 50 dollars a year for plus? Because I find it highly unlikely you can find all 6 of these titles for 4 dollars., even on PC.

As Ive said before, the contrast between the GwG thread and these ones is stark and a bit worrying.

there are at 5 good games here regardless if you own them or not. + the extended Drive club and 7 week battlefield demos.

and only in a PS+ thread is getting an old but good game a bad thing because you have already been given the sequel. especially considering the bulk of plus games are actually older. The attitude in these threads is bloody amazing.

Yep, two Games plus Driveclub. Cant keep up with the Ps+ Games, i just finished Strider a while ago.

Because this is the new trend. Make a successfull indie on PC, sell all you can here, then release it again on PS4.

And the price on PC has literally nothing to do with the value of the game on PS4 to most of the market. We are an oddity here on GAF. One that they certainly are not going to cater to with these selections.
