I honestly don't want them to continue PS+ in the same capacity on PS4. Don't get wrong, I'm taking full advantage of the free sh*t, but the downside I'm wayyyyyy more hesitant to buy games (especially for my vita).

I'm the opposite, ps + sales have me buying way more games than I would have only rented or demod
They also come with quite a few games nowadays in Europe.

I played Sleeping Dogs using the Euro PS+ and played it under my US PS3 account. I kept all my game saves from that. I download the US PS+ version of Sleeping Dogs and my game saves won't work. I can't even copy my saves to the US SD folder.

Don't think you can do anything without jailbreaking, the save games are tied to the game product code, which is different between regions.

Ico/SotC is good. I had it on disc but traded it in after getting bored of Ico (sorry, I think it's over-rated as a video game) but willing to give them another chance definitely.
Demons Souls is okay, how does it compare to its successor? Not that I got into that too heavily either.
Really annoyed that I can't download Okami HD any more, because I have free time to use for a little while. Would be so much better if every game in the IGC was automatically added to your + account - implement this please Sony :[

You can expect at least another 2 Sony games, what with the yearly titles being swapped out.
But yeah, it should be pretty cool. Biggest update since the IGC was introduced.
Edit: Forgot what I came into this thread to post. I just took a look at PSNProfiles.com and while it's not representative of the entire PS3 install base, I found it interesting how much of an impact PS+ has. Hitman: Absolution and Sleeping Dogs are the most played games at the moment, with Catherine in eighth.
Even in howlongtobeat.com, that is not a PS only website, we can see some effects. Sleeping Dogs is on the popular list, and every big game on Plus get there too.
Sony has every reason to want to get users on the shop as frequently as possible. Sony has no reason to care if a user misses out on a game because they refuse to log into the shop frequently.
They should start by making the PS3 app not an absolute chore to navigate.

Thats your problem. Don't give them shitty ideas PS+ is Gaming God Status. If you have a problem with it show discipline, & do not resubscribe it is your issue alone. Sony have a sublime thing going, PS+ truly is supreme in design.

I make the monthly achievement/trophy thread so I know about this because trophy/savegame hacking is a serious problem :-/. However something innocent as changing regions on your save is nothing special and you can use the freeware savegame hacking tools for that too I believe.
Yep. I had the same problem on the vita. Bought Asian copy of uncharted, played it, uploaded save to cloud. Downloaded US copy of uncharted, old save doesn't work. Bummer.
Hmm. I did not know that such a third party software exists. Good to know. Know of anyway to do it using Vita saves?

No (luckily) Vita is still a closed system. Let's hope it stays that way because savegame hacking is hella rampant.
Yea, that is very reasonable. I suppose these sorts of things matter to people who value trophies. Guess I'd just have to replay uncharted again (someday)

Welp! I'm finally coming to the end of Okami.
What a chore. I'm not so sure how the game got such a fever of adulation towards it when it first came out. It's overly long... not aided in the fact you can't skip some dialogue, so it's a slow, annoying plod as you just want to get on with it. Combat is pretty unexciting and unimportant overall. You can skip having to battle with anything other than the forced battles when you meet a new creature or boss. Outside of that you don't level up or gain anything other than money, which the game gives you plenty of anyways. The "voice work" is very annoying, again not helped by the fact some isn't skippable. I found it rarely enjoyable, but I wanted to make it to the end regardless. I'm not sure why though, I could have so easily given up on the game many a time, but I soldiered on. You need patience to play this game. I'm probably gunning for about 30 hrs in total. It would have been a much pleasanter experience if it was even half that. Maybe 10 would have been the sweet spot.

I'm pretty sure they are talking about the non-transferable-to-usb saves, like Demon's Souls, which can only be sent to cloud storage.
Google PS3 Save Resigner. I was able to make my PAL Infamous 2 save with an NTSC Infamous 2 game.
Is there one for the US?
I think NA is getting GoW I/II instead. I have no info to support this; this is just a theory based on the store mess-up last week.

Wow. Imo it's one of the best games ever -- it has an incredible soundtrack, a beautiful art style, charming characters, epic story-line and exciting gameplay. I don't understand why you dislike long games either. The game is full of content. Basically it's three games in one, which is why most people refer to it as Okami 1, 2 and 3. The three arcs are very different, and you could end after the first and continue later if you desire.
I don't understand why you say that you don't gain anything but money. You do level up your health, ink and such. The game also gives you various new weapons.
In the end it's all to their own of course. I can totally understand that some people are impatient or want faster action, but personally I think the game is outstanding, albeit with some minor control issues as well as a really slow first hour.

So I logged into PS+ today and Sine Mora is free for Vita, yippee!!!
Just finished Hitman Absolution tonight, not bad but the last few levels were pretty terrible. I did buy it for $5 on Amazon so they got some extra $$ from me, I want to see how the graphics are on my PC. Checked on Steam and shit its a 24gb download!
Now just waiting for ICO/SOTC and Demon Souls in June. PS+ the gift that just keeps giving.
