Great month.
My subscription expires in september IIRC, but I won't be able to finish all the games I got for free until then :/ (I have no interest in some of them, though).
 
When will it be updated?
Because I'm contemplating signing up for PS Plus to get into the Starhawk beta, but most of all get FF IX on discout.
 
That's a pretty good update, I've been wanting to try Far Cry 2 for a long time.

Yesterday I also realized my sub expires in June instead of March (06/03). Yay for the US using a screwed up date format!
 
Smart of Sony to only offer one Final Fantasy PS1 game for the month instead of sets like what they did for Resident Evil/Spyro/Syphon Filter etc...
 
PSN+ is the best deal in gaming, period.

I just never thought a Final Fantasy game would be included in the PS+ offers. I still don't regret anything since it was on sale and there was a PS+ sale on top of that, it was just funny to see it go on sale 2-3 days after I bought the game.

I know the feeling, I bought it the day it came out but I don't regret buying it, just suprised it's being given free.

Quoted for absolute truth. If Microsoft doesn't match these offers next-gen (and assuming Sony maintains this level of support), Xbox Live is simply going to pale in comparison. Free Simpsons Arcade? Doesn't get much more awesome than that.
 
Ive never bought PS+, if I subbed for a year do I get all the free stuff that has gone before, or do I only get access to the free stuff that comes out after the date i subscribe?

You only get what's available in the PS+ section of the store at the moment you subscribe. You also have to manually "buy" these items for free in order to have them.

It's right up there near the very top at the very least. I bought a 3 month card around early december and since then I've got tomb raider underworld, the back to the future games, syphon filter series, crash series and spyro series all for free. And now this stuff.

There's probably a bunch of other stuff I can't even remember too, they give away so much. The value of games I've downloaded easily surpassed $20 a while ago (the cost of a 3 month card).

It's a great month for PS+, if you like the games being offered. But yeah, Simpsons Arcade being free is a sweet deal
 
I own Far Cry 2 but I'll download it just so that it's tagged as free on my account. In case I want to download it in the future. Damn fine game.

Yup. My PS+ currently extends into 2015 all because of that Target misprint. Years of free & discounted PSN stuff for $45 total? Fuck yeah.

The thing is you will also need to stay subscribed to keep access to the games. I recommend a $30 one year PS+ card on ebay.

But Far Cry 2 and Simpsons Arcade? Excellent month. PS+ is almost single handedly guaranteeing I will keep in the Sony ecosystem next gen if PSN games are compatible with the new system.

Wow. Feb update is awesome. Almost worth the price of Plus alone.

Only bought a 3 month sub to transfer untransferrable saves to my new PS3, but I might keep it on.

Well, if someone happens to own every game on PS+ I could see them feeling it's not the best deal ever, but that's a pretty unlikely proposition for the average gamer. Hell, for games like Simpsons Arcade, which are free at launch, it's an impossible proposition. On-line is already free on PSN, so unless someone really, really values cross-game chat, I just don't see how Live can be considered a similar value.

This may very well be the greatest PS+ month yet in recorded history, at least as far back as humanity was able to scrawl cave paintings.

I can't believe they are giving the Simpsons game for free. I would have paid full price for it. This was my favorite game as a kid in the arcades.

After this update, I don't ever want to see anyone bagging on the value of PS+. Considering I got a year for $14.99, this is even more ridiculous a deal.
