PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

Yeah, put me in the camp that would like to see more PSN releases through Plus. Stuff I'd never try out otherwise like Moon Diver, Rainbow Moon, Akimi Village, Elevator Action Deluxe, stuff like that. I'd personally much prefer that over full PS3 games that can be had at retail for $10 or less, that I could physically own and not have eating up HDD space on my PS3.

Same here. Borderlands/darksiders/etc have been on sale for less than 5$ on steam multiple times and gotten for sub 10$ used as well.

Moon diver/rainbow moon? I'm semi interested but if I buy them I'm stuck with them so I never bothered.

I've just got myself a new PS3 for the living room and I uploaded all of my saves from my other PS3 to the cloud, and when I try to bulk copy a load of files, about 40 out of 150 are greyed out.

What's the deal with this?

Locked saves. You can still upload them, you just have to do it one at a time for some ridiculous reason. Makes no sense, I know.

Ya! for $50 a year they should give me a bunch of $60 games!

There's a huge difference between $5 games and $60 games, and I'm pretty sure the guy isn't after $60 games.

There's stuff like Twisted Metal out there, for example, that I'm pretty sure bombed like the Tsar Bomba and would get a multiplayer afterlife if it was offered.

RDR is in Europe+... and Sony said more full games, less PSN games, which is what i support...

i was very happy with Starhawk... play only for 30 mins, but not only it is great tutorial, it is pretty decent single player campaign.

I dunno if this is the first volley of "Plus on Vita", just another offer, this month's freebie, or something that's been up for a while but I've only just noticed... but on the Euro store, Super Stardust Portable (that's the PSP title, not the Vita's Delta) is now showing up as free.

To be fair, RDR is almost 2 years old and I think it was sort of a special case for GameCom.

My genius plan!

Week 1: Free Game 1.

Week 2: Sale on DLC for previously released free games. 50% off?

Week 3: Free Game 2.

Week 4: "Steam Sales." Five dollar "retail" games, two dollar PSN games, with the promise that no game on this sale would be released for "free" for Plus in the future (or within an 18 month period, at least). Maybe one of each a month?

Wow, that really IS genius! This guy's super-smart and I bet very attractive and cool.

They are really "hyping" the EU plus update..

Just arrived home! Any news yet? Hype for EU PS+ October.

Also lately I've been something like this: Have time? No games. No time? Lot's of games. UGH...

Nope. Blog post usually goes up sometime today, but who knows when? Or it could be delayed until tomorrow... :(

Thank you both for answering fellow GAFfers, hope we can get some info today and tomorrow will be Downloading day.

I only got a couple of pre-orders lately (2-3 Titles), with those and PS+ I'm set for a while since I've been cleaning the Backlog this year.

It boggles my mind how hard a time they have to write up one blog post per week/month. I mean you could say that they go chasing information for a very long time, but even today it seems they know what the games are so all it takes is take 30 minutes to write 'hey guys, here's all your free games and a fancy graphic to accompany that'.

EDIT: I'm hoping for AC3 beta/AC revelation for free to hype shit up for AC3, seeing as Ubi loves Sony when it comes AC series and they are pretty big supporters of Plus

lol... so they should be 2hrs faster and then you would still complain about having to be another 2hr faster, day faster, week faster, month faster....

Oh no I meant that they should actually publish it Wednesday morning. Like around tenish. Cause now it seems like they do nothing the whole day but sit on the blog posts.

I was always under the assumption that they'd have to get the nod/OK from any publishers involved in the update so they can then inform their own followers quickly or just make sure any "problems" that might halt something are resolved.

Of course, they could also be taking more care with the posts after last month's screw ups but I never buy that...

Or maybe the guy needs to do more than just updating that one blog post per week.

Well of course...he updates it once every month or two weeks ;)

No but really, I'm only saying that they have everything sorted for this month since this morning so it's not that difficult to write up all that information in like 20 minutes.
