Expect some PSN games from 2010 or last year. :p

i'm pulling for moon diver granted I will even just take a discount for that one... the thing hasn't been on sale once since it released :/

anyways I am also hoping NA delivers next month, but at least for me the bar is pretty low as I can't think of many games on the PSN I would want less than crysis 2 lol.

At the very least I am hoping the vita offerings are fun, i mean by the end of November I will own at least 2 maybe 3 physical games for the vita, with the right digital goods maybe I will get motivated to actually buying a vita lol.

Give people good retail titles "meh, already have it/played it", give people more good niche titles "meh, whats this crap, i want more known blockbuster titles". PS+ will never be good for everyone.
Crysis 2 is great. Never played it. Will finish it on Ps3 and then get it for cheap on a steam sale to play it with proper graphics on the hardest difficult.

I hoped for NFS: HP for October. That ship has sailed. No way is it coming out anywhere near Most Wanted.

And I don't think any more Walking Dead episodes, as I think the whole point of the first two was to help promote the rest and get people to buy them.

Whatever SCEA comes up with, it better be big. They need some eye-catching titles for the holidays.

Like I said, wishful thinking!

I really hoped for NFS:HP because we got Shift 2 a while back (it was bad). Oh well.

Gonna play Walking Dead this weekend, maybe if its as good as people say I'll buy the new eps instead of waiting to see if we'll get them.

Crysis 2 would have been great, hope SCEA has an ace up their sleeve for the holiday season

Heh yeah pretty much. Everyone on the Blog is complaining that "why is everything an FPS?" when only one of them was last month and we still don't know what the other 2 are this month.

People find anything to complain about

So far, so good for Plus. While Sony Computer Entertainment America couldn't share exact figures on the number of Plus subscribers, a spokesperson did tell us that customer satisfaction rates are at the highest ever at 97 percent while renewal intent rate is at 93 percent. "The success of PS Plus is contributing in a big way to driving overall PSN sales, as our last quarter was the biggest in terms of transactional sales in PSN's six-year history," she noted. "The immediate consumer reaction was completely off the charts, and membership sales more than doubled during the week of E3."

But why? Moon Diver is awful. Just play MAME Strider, its PS1 sequel or Osman/Cannon Dancer if you want some acrobatic gravity-defying platforming sword-murder in your life.

Crying shame what's happening to the Vita sales-wise, it really does deserve better. But, besides that, why is Crysis 2 a bad choice for a free game? Complaining about free retail games mystifies me.

i want moon diver because I enjoyed the demo well enough but not enough to bite not on sale.

and I never said crysis 2 was a bad choice for a free game, I said the bar was low for me, it's a big name title, and a number of people will be excited for it, but I personally can't think of many titles I would want less on the PSN because I have absolutely no interest in crysis 2 even to the point of just goofing around with it for 20 min (like I will nfl blitz, and yes that does imply I am happier getting nfl blitz then I would be getting crysis 2.)

as for complaining about free retail games, well ignoring the fact that most of the retail games we have gotten I could easily pick up for $10 or less and thus in general have no extra value over a psn game, I am also the type of person who prefers to own my games physically. The retail games also tend to take up a ton of room (i mean infamous 2 is over 10gb), are big slow downloads, and take forever to install/delete. If it's a game I absolutely wanted I would have bought a physical copy already(I hold off on digital games until they are on sale in general), and beyond that if I have a passing interest in a retail game I can just rent it/ borrow it from a friend, I can't do that with PSN only titles thus why I prefer to get them trough plus.

That's not to say I am completely against retail titles, they just in general don't interest me as much as PSN titles do.

Anyone from the UK get Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood for free today? I added them earlier just fine. But just a few minutes ago they aren't free for my brother. Maybe it was a mistake?

I just spent 120 dollars with NFS Most Wanted and Assassin's Creed 3 pre orders, but haven't received the 20 dollars credit. Do I have to do something else besides... buying? lol

Definitely, unfortunately it seems Sony is sticking to the "Full games on PSN+ only 1 year after release" rule.

Nothing wrong with that.

If that started doing it before 1 year everyone would say "omgz SONEY i just bought this game at launch for £40 now itzzz free r u kidding me!111!!!?!?"

60 minute trials?

Could be since I never bothered downloading them since I've played them before. Just added them. But I remember looking at the AC sale section and they were both listed as Free for me so I added them. For my brother and sister they have prices listed

It seems the remaining 3 percent are in this thread.

I was gonna do $50 for PS+, $50 for games

Then the PS+ free for all happened, so that went out the window

I've spent roughly $31 so far, looks like I will be hella' short!

Unless last week comes out fucking amazing with deals galore

Is PS+ worth it, if I have a Vita and no PS3?

Wait till what they announce info for the Vita in November for PS+ before you drop any money

If you have a PS3 no doubt about it + it covers if you have Vita too or vice versa

More than happy with PS+ from my free code courtesy of PSNStores. Grabbed Machinarium, Borderlands and Infamous 2 and a bunch of themes. Still don't know if I will renew, I will see what comes out next month. Given there isn't much that interests me on the retail front coming out, it is pretty likely I will though.

Either way it's probably best to turn auto-renew off and just purchase a 1 year subscription if you decide to keep the sub. In my opinion anyway - up to you, obviously :)

But yeah if you decide not to renew, make sure you remember to turn auto-renew off.

I still need to spend 5-6 more bucks to get to 100 spent in October...that's an awkward price range for good psn games.

Anyways, bought Unfinished Swan early but didn't have time to play until now. It's quite the concept for a game.

Derrick the Deathfin? Not an amazing game, but a cute one, that plays well and is great to just pick up and go for five to fifteen minutes.

If you have a Vita, go nuts with PS Mobile games, some of the better Minis, some TV show episodes, or a PSone classic.

Anyone knows if Crysis 2 has a heavy cut german version? The cut german version of Bulletstorm is a total joke.

Just checked, there's only the uncut version similar to UK/US. Thank god.

I need a bigger HDD. But at this point i don't really feel spending that mobey for a console that has a year left.
Yeah, I'm in the same position. It's not that big of a problem since I usually play one game at a time, but it would be nice if I could install all the PS+ freebies at once.

Crysis 2 is a great choice, you'd think i'd be a december choice ;)

Good going EA and SCEE. I'm still finishing dead space 2. Does this game have an online pass ? Or can I try multiplayer outright?

Nothing wrong with that.

In principle I agree with that but for games like Twisted Metal it's essential to have a healthy community to be enjoyed online. Because of that giving it for free for PS+ it would also help those that paid £40 find full rooms online.
