Whattt we get Vanquish and Limbo? Holy tits yay! I've always wanted Limbo, but it just seemed too pricey for that short experience. I'll def throw some money their way though after this.

They are really going fucking nuts w/ this free games thing arent they? I was assuming we'd get the initial few free ones and then just get Calling All Cars and generic PSN Minis.

I'm determined to catalogue exactly what I've downloaded via PS+, just so that I can work out how much (little) of it I've actually played/completed.

Oh shit never played any of those games, and I still need to play inFamous 2, Crysis 2, Resident Evil 5, Gravity Rush, Uncharted GA and Scott Pilgrim.
 
I was a sucker to begin with (buying all my games on UK sites, cheap Steam codes on PC...) but PS+ has made stop buying any game I didn't REALLY want altogether.

I'm not sure that's such a good thing for the industry, but as a consumer... Eh, I'll take it!

It's been discussed often enough but for me,
I wont sit there for years hoping a game might come to ps+ if its one I really want I will get it at some point.
most games I've played via + I wouldn't have bought one way or the other, or if then only at greatly reduced (second hand) prices.

So Limbo replaces Scott Pilgrim, and Arkham City replaces Crysis 2.

Vanquish should be replacing an older game too, but it's not.
 
Batman AC is a great game. Shame that I already got it on the PS3 but for those who never played I must say that is a great game to play in the Cold Winter.

It's getting to the point where games that are already PC360 backlog show up on PS plus. So yeah, I'm probably going to refrain from buying as many games as I used to, no matter how cheap they are.

My guess... Lumines, Plants vs. Zombies and Resistance Burning Skies.
 
My housemate took back his copy of Arkham City before I could finish the DLC maps or NG+ so, whilst I've already finished it, this would be entirely welcome.

ohh you just made me remember that I bought Arkham City used, so I never got to play batwoman missions,, would be cool if they include catwoman here..

I would guess if you are getting 3 vita games they would be more along the lines of 1 vita only game, 1 psp game, and 1 ps1 or mini.

They said 2 Vita games/month... so the 3rd will most likely be a PSP game... JSR, WipEout, FFT... the ones missing in europe from the PS+ US launch.
 
Must've been only for October/September then. Because I can't rent Starhawk and Crysis is only a 1 hour demo.

That's it? THAT is why you're confident that they won't do it? Doesn't seem like you've any reason at all to believe that to me.

Seeing as the Vita's library isn't exactly huge and third parties will be pretty reluctant to put their games on the service after less than a year (unless their games bombed, I guess), I'm pretty sure they're going to have to dig into the PSP library at one point.

At one point YES.. I wrote "now".. I know somewhere down the line there will come PSP and Mini´s. But IMO Sony wants to impress with Vita PLUS in the beginning, that´s why I´m confident that they will only have Vita games the first months.. But again, that is MY opinion..!
 
Arkham City and Vanquish? SCEE isn't slowing down, holy shit.

I wonder what EU leftover scrap SCEA is going to give us this month.
 
Already played Batman, but sold it. Still own Vanquish but never played Limbo. Can't complain I guess, been missing Bats. Goty 2011 right there.

Some day I'm hoping I'll get 3 games I've never touched before. Will probably happen very soon, this year I only bought Borderlands 2 and TTT2.

I'm thinking if PS+ gets really popular, like in the tens of millions of subscribers, we can probably say farewell to the huge amount of recent games. Third-parties use PS+ to spread word of mouth when a title is starting to fall out of retail or there's a sequel or DLC incoming. If too many get the games for free it could hurt the long term sales of a title/franchise.

Same here, just that I will play RE5 with Move again. These alone are enough value to justify two or three years of PS+
 
Nice update for EU for those who haven't played those games. I've beaten AC a few months ago and Vanquish last year. I own LIMBO on PC/Mac but haven't played it yet.
