PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

Nah, no way it's a problem. I mean it pretty much secures a PSVita purchase from me in the future, whenever I can afford one. Once I have one I plan to pimp it out with PSONE Classics too.

Whereas if I didn't have this backlog of PSV games I'd be less inclined to get one.

If you are having a hard time saving go to your local K-mart they have layaway it's how I got my 55" Panasonic plasma.
Just got a Vita. It is mindblowingly awesome!

seriously? A 15 second flash animation that basically says "oh well, never mind". Incredibly disappointing.

Since i was hyped for Sleeping Dogs and got cockblocked by german PS+ i did the GraveRobber UK 30 day trial way. Only a hour in but this game is nice. Fighting not as tight as Arkham but still good. Have the suspicion that the replacement for germany will either fall under the carpet or will get offered with the next big update.

Does PS+ work on multiple accounts on the same ps3? Just that to use it you have to select an account to auto sign in.
Yes and no depending on what you're doing. PS3 PS+ games will work on all the user accounts on the system; everything else (cloud saves, discounts, full game trials, avatars, trophy sync, and Vita PS+ games) will only be available to the account with PS+.

So I just purchased 3 months of EU PS+ and have 7.01 pounds left. How good are their discounts? I don't know if I should just save that for a future discount or buy another 3 months.

That part irks me a bit. I have two young boys who love to play PS3 games and have tons of save games. I have backed them up from time to time on USB, but it would be nice to get all their save games into the cloud too. :(

Haven't heard of the site before, but GameDealDaily.com have a year of PS+ and a blu-ray remote on sale for $39.95 with free shipping right now. Looks like it's probably a pretty crappy remote, but 15 months with the current promo for $40 is still good. The guys at cheepassgamer seem to think it's legit, so I'm taking a chance.

That's a nice deal, assuming its not a scam and it ships on time. Thanks for posting it. I ordered one too, although its weird the Paypal goes to drfrielgood at msn.com.

PlayStation Plus Family Pack, Only $100/Year.

PlayStation Plus Family Pack, Only $100/Year.

That actually would be a great deal if Sony managed that for all PS3 accounts or 3 at the very least as that covers most nuclear families. 1 for main consoler owner, 1 for spouse, and a shared one for the kids or just kid if its one.

I have PS+, my son also has a short PS+ membership from the free code given away recently. When I switch 'auto upload' on, it asks me to select an account to auto-sign in. I select my account.

when the PS3 switches on at 2am, will it upload my PS+ saves *and* my sons (because we are both PS+), or only mine (because I'm the account signed in)? If the latter then that needs fixing IMO.

I'm glad a deleted the game then. Its not bad but it was a bit too kiddy in terms of its overall presentation

When did they remove the ability to add free stuff to your cart on the PS3 store? Now I have to start a download and then cancel it for everything to get it into my download history instead of just putting some stuff in my cart and checking out.

Why do you still use the PS3 store?
Just "buy" everything on the web store. (store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com)

Then on your PS3, use Account Management to go directly to your download history. (XMB PSN tab --> Account Management --> Transaction Management --> Download List)

Yeah but you only need one account per PS with PS+ to play the + games.
The family pack would only benefit those with multiple machines.

Thats true, things get muddled when you add a vita to the family. My + is tied to my wife's name because when we bought our PS3 in 08, we decided to keep all our purchases under one account. So when we signed up for + a couple years ago, we did it under her PSN. I just bought a Vita the other week and now I'm forced to put the Vita on her account so I can play the + content. At least with a family pack, it would make the games available to me and our son on our own accounts.

It irked me at first because of trophies, but I got over it. Just wish you can have more then 1 account on the Vita.

Very much enjoying Sleeping Dogs so far, a nice mix of a few games.

Also got to number 1 spot on high speed driving from my friends, though I think only 9 of them have played it.

Yeah that caught me by surprise too. All of a sudden I had games downloading I didn't want downloaded right now.

Guess I'll use the website.

I remember everytime that counter came up and I was getting close to my friends times, I'd fly right past where I was going and just keep on speeding on to see if I could get number 1.

Great yet annoying little mechanic.

Yeah, I've been really pleased with this game so far. Quite a refreshing, more realistic take on the genre. I love that you've got the crime investigation stuff going on alongside having to do the triad stuff. Like a gaming version of Infernal Affairs. Really like the setting too. Plus I bought a bird for my apartment, so there's that.

I don't have anyone on my friends list playing the game, it seems. If anyone wants to add me so I have someone to compete against, my PSN name is mikebot2000. Do it, if only so you have one more person to be better than, haha.

It's really interesting to think what Portal would have been with Kim Swift as a full director rather than the project head.

Also CC and Derrick on sale.

Closure for main game but hopefully many plus sales too.

Can anyone tell me when the EU and NA plus offers end?
March for NA. I think the Euro offer ends next week, but I might be wrong about that.

Just signed up for PS+. I put it off for quite some time but caved in eventually. I wish I knew how Sony manages to persuade devs to offer their games for free.

Everybody get Critter Crunch if you haven't already. If any US Plusser is sour from all the goodies EU Plus got, Critter Crunch can make it all go away.

I kinda wish the polls were still public. I started keeping track of them during December and only once was "Nothing for Me this week" not the top choice (Street Fighter IV was the game that week).
