PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

Dear Hitman Absolution players.

Play the sniper challenge its more than worth the download, and you can leave absolution downloading in the background, it's what the whole game should have had. Also 60fps beauty and really fun.
 
Thomas Was Alone is amazing! The writing is right up my street and the game had a roomful of people engaged last night.

Enjoying Hitman, mainly cos I loved the old ones but sucked so I don't mind a bit of hand holding. Haven't had a chance to see Malicious or Catherine yet but great update so far.

I'd be ok with deleting games that you have 0% trophies on, but it seems silly to let user delete games you already have trophies for.

It's nice to be able to check a friend's trophy list to see which games they've played, but not cared enough to get a significant amount of trophies for, versus ones that they liked enough to get most or all of the trophies. It's like an informal reviewing system.

I would never want to check my friend's trophies and see nothing but 100%/Plats games, just because they were allowed to delete all the <100% games. That's just dumb.
 
The disguise system in Hitman: Absolution is really shitty, I thought It was improved with a patch.

But then I realized that they never released the patch for the digital version.

Sucks for people who bought this version.

They are different.

Patches for digital versions are installed in the game main file, not in the Ps3 game data folder. The developer have to do a patch specific for this version, and Square and IO didn't bothered to do It.

Isn't the patch downloaded anyway?

Oh, look. A fighting game.

It's a good one, though. Actually, I've played all of these games, and they're all good. It's also a great month to own a Vita since two of those are cross-buy.

Aside from Sleeping Dogs, this is a pretty lame update for US plus...
I wish VLR would go on sale or be a Plus freebie for US already >=/

I'd give Knytt Underground a try if the dev's pedigree is anything to go by. His games tend to be very atmospheric and soothing. If you're not a pinball fan I can see why you wouldn't like free Pinball Arcade, but it's a great collection of classic tables and a wonderful portable title as well. (I already own it, so hopefully there's a sale on a few table packs alongside this.) I'm not a fan of BlazBlue, but I'm sure it's a solid game. Doesn't look like there's a stinker in the lot, which means it's actually an awesome update overall.
 
Bought Knytt, but that's alright as it's another great update. Can't wait to play Sleeping Dogs! Might hold off until I finish up all the Bioshocks first tho
 
This upcoming update is pretty tame, but I wont resist double dipping and getting Sleeping Dogs for some PS3 trophy goodness.
 
It's too bad that I already own Sleeping Dogs, and I'm not enthused about yet another fighting game, but I'm looking forward to trying Knytt Underground (enjoyed the original Knytt) and Pinball Arcade.
 
Sleeping Dogs- own it on pc. Good for trophies only
Knytt- own it, beat it,
Blazblue- owned it since launch
Pinball Arcade- okay, I guess. I just bought a bunch of Zen Pinball tables

pretty lame month overall.
 
I'll tell ya, even if I don't have a means of playing them (yet), the abundance of PSP/Vita fighting games is a real killer to me. Three months in a row (I think) and it's been Tekken, then Soul Calibur, and now BlazBlue? I hate fighters, I'm never any good at them :(

Really hoping that next month's big Vita/PSP game is not a fighter

Why the complaints this would be the best update in months & I beat the euro version of Sleeping Dogs.
Fuck Yeah to this update Sony owns our demon souls.
 
Expected BlazBlue Calamity Trigger PSP, got BlazBlue Extend Vita instead. It pays to keep your expectations low. ;)

I don't know I can spare 3+ GB for the game though.
 
It boggles my mind when people badmouth the update and call it lame, then turn around and say they own and have beaten those same games. If you own and beat them then obviously you thought they were worth the money at some point and now Sony is here giving them away for free with PS+. That should mean this is a kickass update! Yeah maybe lame for you personally cause it doesn't give you much more, but kickass on the whole.

I agree some people just act like whiny little bitches. Perhaps they shouldn't buy every game the day they are released. Come on!

not so much on not buying games on release (it's a show of support for the devs)
but owning it, therefore update is lame... is (agreed) not the way to think about an update

im not all that into fighters myself, but I am happy to have blazblue added as I enjoy it on the PS3 I just fail to boot it up much and will likely play it more on the vita.

I have to figure we will be getting another fighter next month as well, as next month would be the e3 update, and playstation all stars just reeks of a game they would give away for the e3 update (same with little big planet karting)
