More like unheard of for consoles. That's a GMG discount right there. I'm shocked to see a console game at 20% off at release, even if it's PS+.

I never got around to finishing the first Metro. If I do get the game it will be on PS3 (reviews say it runs like crap on AMD, which I have).

Been waiting to see if we would get the 20 percent PS Plus discount on full retail games. Glad to see it is finally happening. I'm getting Metro on PC from Amazon so I won't partake in this discount, but hopefully Sony is looking at the future. With the PS4 if there are 20 percent week one discounts I'll buy a lot of games off the Playstation Store.

Welp! I'm finally coming to the end of Okami.

What a chore. I'm not so sure how the game got such a fever of adulation towards it when it first came out. It's overly long... not aided in the fact you can't skip some dialogue, so it's a slow, annoying plod as you just want to get on with it. Combat is pretty unexciting and unimportant overall. You can skip having to battle with anything other than the forced battles when you meet a new creature or boss. Outside of that you don't level up or gain anything other than money, which the game gives you plenty of anyways. The "voice work" is very annoying, again not helped by the fact some isn't skippable. I found it rarely enjoyable, but I wanted to make it to the end regardless. I'm not sure why though, I could have so easily given up on the game many a time, but I soldiered on. You need patience to play this game. I'm probably gunning for about 30 hrs in total. It would have been a much pleasanter experience if it was even half that. Maybe 10 would have been the sweet spot.

I hated the recycled boss fights and the boring combat (aside from boss fights, the combat consisted of button-smashing). Also, the "dungeons" were all too short and maybe too easy, but it still is an enjoyable game.

Chapter three is, and that's the real Knytt Underground. The First two chapters are like tutorials, but...not...

It's a weird game, I still don't know if I like it or not. Pretty huge, too.

Sort of. Very little combat, and you don't get permanent powers after the introductory chapters (there are temporary ones strewn around the map). It's more about exploring and learning to use your powers and the environment to get to the next screen.

It's kind of a Metroidvania game. You get access to your entire moveset before you start exploring, though, and it's much more platforming focused than any Metroidvania game. YOu don't have any offensive abilities by default, though there are power ups you can use you defeat enemies. Enemies work more like parts of a puzzle than proper enemies.

It's huge and open and kind of intimidating, but I liked it. It's like the free PC Knytt games, except huge and with terrible writing.

Gaf I need help, I just received an unwanted ps3 from a friend and plan to pick up uncharted 3. If I get a 3 month plus pass what games will I have access to? Also I don't have a vita but plan on eventually getting one, if I back log any vita games and keep my plus subscription through the ps4 will I always be able to redownload my vita games?

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

This month is arguably one of the best times to jump in 'cause you get Infamous 2, LBP2 and Motorstorm, and those 3 will be replaced next month or at E3 but some heavy hitters. But also Demon's Souls, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus

God, that iphone app is terrible. I actually use it a fairly freqently on my ipad, and stream it via Airplay to my receiver. I find the service pretty useful (albeit really quirky), but I don't think I'll re-up unless they improve the ios app, or unless they give it to me for twelve bucks again.

I have noticed that the uptime of it has been much better. Sometimes the metadata is jacked up, and there are weird holes in the library, but in general the selection and quality is good. I would really like a native Mac app, too, because the browser app is also quirky.

It's not a great service, but I too bought it when it was on offer and I use it frequently on my PC. It desperately needs a queue feature, though.
