Got it loading now..though had to use my Irish account. Seemed to have problems on my US account even though I've an irish IP.

It's doing updating stuff at the moment so can't really comment on things yet.

The first two artists I looked for weren't there.. :p

But for some that are there they seem to have an impressive number of songs, live performances too (e.g. they have 50 mariah carey videos :lol )

Started playing immediately I selected a song too.

Just been on Vidzone. Absoloutly fantastic app for the PS3, No need to watch music channels or trawl around Youtube anymore!

VidZone seems pretty shitty and pointless.

Bought the Team Ico LBP Pack, immediate remorse. No music, can't use colossus eyes on their own (bolted onto rest of helmet). Oh well! :lol

I also haven't bought a KZ2 Map pack yet, because I'll hold out for when they bundle them all together and people will be playing them as their own separate playlist.

Not getting Gunstar due to horrific blur filters.

So yeah, not a good week for me Sony!

Is the Ghostbusters demo not on the store? Thought it was this week...

Shit, I forgot about that. Seemingly not! Maybe the US will get it (despite...Sony publishing it here..). So yes, doubly worse now I think about it!

Vidzone is working fine for me. Interface is a bit slow and akward at the moment. Hopefully that improves with time.

Ok, finally got it to work.

Nothing for me:

Vidzone's idea of "alternative" and "indie" are not really what I would describe as such :/ Well, at least Hives are in :)

However, it looks pretty slick and once u get it to work, it really works quite well :)

I hope the amount of songs and the variety will grow over the next weeks.

Dont Stop Believin' is on vidzone, nice.

Playlists definately need a 'shuffle' function tho

There's a shuffle and loop options..go back to your root menu with your playlist on it, then hit triangle for those options and some others.

It's pretty cool. Artist wise there are some notable absences, but then some surprising inclusions too. Will keep checking back with it.

That’s all for now. We’re working on bringing you Peggle and Feeding Frenzy 2 before the year is out, so keep an eye out for those! I can’t give away much about Peggle, but I think it’s going to be really cool.

YES YES YES. MOAR PEGGLE.

Has it been confirmed it doesn't work then ? I didn't get an error saying I'm in the wrong territory...

I haven't tried it myself yet but Benedict from Sweden who tried it said that is indeed IP-locked.

I'm in Australia and keep getting the same error and can't get it to work.
I'm guessing the servers are getting smashed.

ah, that threw me a bit. i was looking for those options on the actual playlist header, not on 'now playing'

I clicked on the Battlefield 1943 ad in Vidzone expecting it to launch some official web page via the PS3 browser but instead it sent me straight at the BF 1943 trailer download page of the PlayStation Store. Interesting.

Loving the software thus far. Have yet to "learn" the interface well, but hell is it fast. Videos look great despite being SD.

I tried the download option on two vids but I was told there is no content available for mobile for those two songs. Oh well, I wasn't really going to buy them anyway :lol

I get the same error while trying to buy something as I did last week

"an error has ocurred.

No KZ2 map pack for me until 2moro :(

I was getting the same error. Try adding funds "manually" rather than via the shortcut at the chart screen. That worked for me.

i got an error that it is overloaded and to try again later, nothing about wrong territory yet, will try again tonight.

Seems like the digitalization of PSP games have started, but I have a strange feeling that almost only titles that are Platinum games (Greatest Hits) will be available to download from earlier released games :

Downloadable Games (also available via the PS3 store)

* WipEout Pulse (Platinum) (£14.99/€19.99)
PEGI 3+
As if this title needs any introduction really - High-octane speed, high-tech weapons, stunning visuals and no less than seven thrilling race modes await – as well as online match-ups for up to eight players via Infrastructure Mode and Ad Hoc Mode.
* Ape Academy 2 (Platinum) (£14.99/€19.99)
PEGI 3+
The apes have finally graduated from the Ape Academy, so this term things are going to be a little different! Evil genius Specter has invented a new card game and it’s sweeping the globe, helping him on his way towards world domination.
* Everybodys Golf 2 (Platinum) (£14.99/€19.99)
PEGI 3+
Download Everybody’s Golf 2 and hit the fairway with golf fans from around the globe. With so many colourful courses and fun-filled game modes to play, there’s always a reason to get those clubs out and have another round!
* Syphon Filter Logans Shadow (Platinum) (£14.99/€19.99)
PEGI 16+
Unseen, unheard and unknown – Gabe Logan, Precision Strike Operative, is no stranger to secrecy. But when special intelligence suggests that Logan’s partner, Lian Xing, is a double agent – and a mysterious figure starts shadowing his every move – a dangerous secret threatens to become a deadly lie.

Only Wipeout Pulse and Syphon Filter are available in Sweden.
Fuck you SCEE..

Is a long-ish load time normal for vidzone? I'm seeing the loading bar go back and forth for a while now..maybe just cos it's getting hammered?

I think that's when the client tries to connect to the server. I got the "fatal error" related to connections issues at that point.

How does VidZone integrate into XMB? Is it like Home/Photo App, or is it a regular "game" like the MGS Database?

I tried the Overlord II demo and I have to say I'm impressed. It looks somewhat rough, but it's got character and lots of humor, reminds me of Dungeon Keeper, might have to pick the first one up.

Nope. Sometimes it's up at 4:30 but usually it's closer to seven or eight as of late. :'(

Well, if you check so infrequently that you need to ask when it updates, surely there are several updates you missed. Knock yourself out.

If you have a 360, buy the 360-version. Compared the demos today, framerate in PS3 version is worse.

I was impressed as well. I was always interested in the first game, but it just seemed way too rough around the edges to buy. This one looks and feels much more refined and it's a blast to play.
