Porn to PSN?

The Vivid Entertainment founder and co-chairman, Steven Hirsch, told MCV that he believed the distribution of porn films on PS3 had “real potential” for the adult entertainment industry.

Japanese firm DDM.tv last month revealed that it had launched an HD porn download service for owners of the PS3 – but it is only available in its home territory for the time being.
DDM promised to bring Blu-Ray-quality HD adult movies to those with a PS3, broadband connection, HDMI cable and an HD TV. Movies will be offered for download on a
pre-pay basis.

So it looks like they're doing a sale on PSP games the week the Go releases, which is a good way to introduce people to the store.

That's INCREDIBLY stupid. There will be almost no buzz for this game by then. At least by getting it out by the time their XBLA exclusivity ended they had at least a CHANCE to ride on the coattails of that buzz. Now, not much chance.

Though even though that article is new (proving it's probably true) it still says even there that it has a unconfirmed date and that site is not a MAJOR game news site so there is still some hope.
 
If Sony offered a porn channel, I'd be impressed. Treat people like adults and maybe they'll spend money like adults.

Seriously, I've stayed in really nice hotels that offered a robust selection of pornography (heterosexual, homosexual, and fetish) through the in-room TV menu. What's wrong with offering paying customers in their own homes?

A new free MMO will be hitting JPSN next week

The PlayStation 3 version of Q Entertainment's Angel Senki seemingly disappeared following its May announcement. But just like that, the game has a final release date. Players can look forward to the title on September 16.

Q Entertainment head of online business Takeshi Mori made the announcement today at a Tokyo press conference titled "Qonline-Quest 2009."

Angel Senki is the latest item-based RPG from Q Entertainment and Taiwan's UserJoy. The PS3 version follows a PC version, which was released in July. Both versions of the game are free to play, with Q aiming to earn revenues on item purchases.

As reported at 4gamer, the PS3 version of Angel Senki will allow players to login using just their PlayStation Network account, which can now be linked up on Q's Qonline website with the QID accounts that would otherwise be required for the game. There will be no need to enter your QID when starting up the game.

PS3 owners can also look forward to an updated user interface which makes for improved play through the controller. An example is what appears to be an item selection window. On the PS3, the item window looks like the item ring one might find in other console dedicated games. You can see sample images in the 4gamer report.

I have no clue. But I can't imagine that it was submitted before the cutoff given that they announced the game in May.

Speaking of that, just found Angel Love Online through the search function of the store, so I'm downloading it.

Is it (or this new MMO) actually worthwhile for free? Or is it going to be a Korean pyramid scam of items?
