PlayStation Store 10/02/12 - Sonic Adventure 2 | Nights | PlayStation Mobile

Neon Valley is a nice idea but there's no On Demand which is kind of a must for this kind of service. $7 is a great price though especially if they expand their library.
Whoa, what? It's a linear channel? Like, I have to tune in at set times to see shows? And it's only streaming on PS3? What a weird business model!

PSM is up

Warios always first with any news. Always count on it. Checking it out now myself.

OMG SEARCH REALLY IS GONE LOL
Well at least when you go into the PSM section it disappears. Weird.

edit: oh snap a Music making app. And only 79 cents?
Samurai Beatdown for .99?
DECENT PRICES OMGWTF

Any suggestions for PSM games? I was kind of considering:

Samurai Beatdown
Numblast
Beats Slider

No idea if any of these are good though.

^ yep, pretty much a waste of a download for most people. Terms could have been a bit more obvious..

I picked up that music making game made by Sony for £0.65 (called Beats...something) and checked it out, very decent app imo, especially for the price. The menu and also in general, the graphics are a bit simple, probably why it's cheap - but very useful if you enjoy putting something together.

Yup. Things replay a lot from the looks of it though, so chances are you'd be able to catch whatever it is you want to see eventually. It looks like each show premieres one episode a week (with longer shows like Naruto and One Piece doing more). It's a subscription channel, basically. Also has commercials, but they're for anime stuff and pretty short.

So it's not on-demand, and it's dub-only, and it looks like it's only available on the PS3 for the moment. It's going to be a hard sell. But the lineup is pretty strong, and I generally prefer dubs, so I'll run with it a while and see how it goes. I wanted to see Tiger and Bunny anyway.

You guys buying Playstation Mobile stuff that isn't an eReader app... *shakes head*

Grabbed Beats Trellis (I love messing around with beat making programs) and Fuel Tiracas. Figure $1.50 isn't too much to just screw around with some things. Might grab the Klondike game in Everybody's Arcade too. Loot The Land looks like a decent match 3 style game as well. I love ToMB, but I'm almost to level 100, and want some more variety at this point, haha.

Soft launch is the best launch.

Rumor is it that leaderboards, multiplayers, trophies, and other psn integrations will come at a later date. Games can be patched to support it.

I'm not sure trophies will ever come but I did read that leaderboards were working in the vita thread..

Samurai Beatdown is pretty fun. The music doesn't always do a great job of showing you the correct rhythm for the slices, but you could do worse for a simple $1 game. It's super easy though.

I haven't even gotten hit yet, and I'm on level 3. There's a harder difficulty, but I haven't unlocked it all yet. There are 5 levels. Each takes like, 2-5 minutes.

So I just gotta ask because I'm really curious. I noticed on PSN they put up another of the PS2 Harvest Moon games, Innocent Life. My question is, are any of the PS2 Harvest Moon games good? I don't have much experience with the series, but I've had difficulty getting into a lot of entries. The one and only time I remember loving Harvest Moon was the N64 game. Harvest Moon 64 was just awesome, and I loved playing it. I was so proud of my farm by the time I finished playing that game.

Are any of the Harvest Moon games on PSN even close to the quality HM64 was?

A Wonderful Life: Special Edition is really good IMO

I've never played the PS2 version of A Wonderful Life, but the GameCube version was simply amazing.

SO. CHILL.

I absolutely adored it. It wasn't as gamey as Friends of Mineral Town, though. It was enjoyable in a different way that's hard to explain. I definitely recommend it.

Back to Nature is a HM64 port with more stuff IIRC.

LOL.. they removed the BLOG...

LOL.. they removed the BLOG...
So something was probably wrong on that post. I guess Jet Set Radio?
Edit: Just saw, they said it's because one of their regions wasn't done with their translation.

It also said that the free DOA5 DLC won't release in Germany, I hope they are wrong on that.

Jet Set Radio is for today on the Vita?! I thought it was going to be on 16 October. What a lovely day, hopefully they have a demo version for the Vita too. I didn't like how the PS3 version ran with the demo...

It's supposed to be that date. Probably a mistake.

I would advise not taking into acocunt verything the EU Blog states; last week they had Page Chronica but they edited it out and was quickly removed from EU PSN as it was to be released on a later date.
