PlayStation Store 10/02/12 - Sonic Adventure 2 | Nights | PlayStation Mobile

Awww...what a letdown :( Also they have another mistake, they mention Nights being a Vita game. If only that were true...

The team at SCEE really are a bunch of fucking idiots. Have we ever had a store update without some sort of mistake?

Oh man, I hadn't even thought how great Nights would be on Vita. Thanks Sony for giving me the idea... and taking it away.

also sega if you're listening, i gotta give kudos for these sega heritage prices. both JSR and NiGHTS for £6.49..that's nothing to sniff at. well done guys.

Mmm...there is an autumn sales section on the store...but no blog post for it? Nothing too interesting for me unfortunately.

Definitely considering the Assassin's Creed III bundle with Liberation with the $20 back promo right now, very tempting.

Nope, can't be downloaded through your download list either. Haven't tried to transfer it from the PS3 yet.

There is an "Autumn Sale" on the store, but nothing significant in it as far as I remember.

Sony is pathetic when it comes to downloads, especially when you don't own a PS3. Getting tired of this shiz!!!

Oh boy, I sure love it when I can't give sony a frankly retarded amount of cash to buy games of them. I'd sure love me some Sonic, Nights, Tomba and Kolona right now!

What're the chances of a Sale on PSX games? After listening to FF9's OST I feel tempted to get it for Vita =o=
That and a few other games.

Someone reported Tomba! is 50 Hz. Once again we get a version that is even worse than original PAL release.

Original PAL release was 50 Hz but at least cutscenes and music ran at the correct speed, and some, not sure if it's the case, had further tweaks that compensated the lost frames by making the game run faster, giving it a experience that was as close as posible to the NTSC version. Also iirc PAL release was translated. And another thing that I don't like about those releases is that we don't get the original manual, but that is really minor.

I can't understand how can they release the game like this...

What? It is translated. It's in English. It's a US Import.

There are other languages in the world besides English. The PAL release of Tombi! had some of those.

Oh, oops. Sorry. Well, I guess that is a concern then. :/

Really, I'm getting fed up of PS1/2 and Virtual Console style releases of old games on new platforms. I wish everything could get the same treatment that, say, SEGA's giving its old stuff at the moment. Down with ROM dumps and the like. (Not that I'm complaining too much, given it'd be impossible for Sony to release stuff like Crash Bandicoot beyond an emulated version, but stillll)

Actauly, I couldn't find Tomba in the PSX section so maybe it got taken down once someone realised they released a NSTC game at 50htz?

Course, I'm DLing Klona right now so I could have egg on my face in about 15 minutes (to say nothing of the small eternites I'll be waiting for SA2 and NiGHTS)

Edit: yep, Klona's running on a 50htz emulator, that makes no damn sense. Even Nintendo runs imported roms though a 60htz emulator.

It's still there (under PSOne Imports). If they would really take it down to fix it, they'd have to take down MonkeyPaw's entire catalogue (+ Klonoa). I guess they will probably ignore the problem.

Edit: Btw., Tombi! also does CANNOT be copied from the PS3 to the Vita. So for now there's no way to play it on a Vita.

I really wish they could assign this dynamically based on the display, or at least allow people to choose. Ridiculous. :-(

Just seemed to run like all other PS1 games on PS3. 50HZ. No idea what the resolution is. Looked good, though.

Sorry, I was tired and was thinking of something else so made the mistake, I meant the framerate.

Absolutely pathetic that SCEE continue to gimp games the way they have. I'll not be buying a single PS1 release from them anymore.

OMG whhen is Dracula X Chronicles gonna go on sale???!!! I want to buy this thing so bad but my inpulse PSP purchases start at $5 max $10. These games are old as hell, drop the damn prices already.

PS: Tekken 6 PSP (from 2009) or whatever it is, is still $40!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!

I don't believe Namco Bandai has ever dropped the prices on their PSN releases. If they publish a game on PSN, and you want it you might as well buy it day 1 to get the most value from your money.

Yeah, they could be better, but I was on the store for NiGHTS, saw Tomba, went "OH MOTHERFUCKING SHIT" and bought it instantly.

I don't think any other release will make me do that, so I'm safe. (Unless they start putting Net Yaroze games on there)

Got Super Crate Box in Vita (EU store), it's awesome to play this using proper controls!
It's fucking great, buy this shit NOW!
All of them have screenshots.

Sony done good.
None of them have videos (or demos, but I understand the cost), and it sucks. It's hard to judge something from some few screenshots.
If I was Sony I'd suggest them to put there a video, I'm 99% sure that it increases sales for PSN games.
At least one of them is F2P (well, but it just lets you to play 10 minutes to Klondike).

You gotta consider inflation, though. He's losing money by buying day 1.
