Try Amazon, it is available on there, in a bunch of countries.I'm tempted to order this now that I'm not getting a new GPU so what are my options for ordering in the UK?

Clicked my Playstation Direct access link 5 minutes early than the time listed and was able to add it to my cart and purchase before my allotted time window even started. Estimated delivery 2-22-23 thru 2-28-23
Anyone know if you need to pay the total cost up front (if you get selected for the pre-order)?
I signed up and want one day one but if I gotta drop $550 at once, I'll just hold off, not sure if I can comfortably save that much. It's definitely possible though when I factor in my Christmas bonus, etc.
As for the cost itself, I think it's fair. This is a niche market and expensive technology as far as I know. Headset, two controllers, and the headphones seems fair for the price.
I am holding off until I see that this entire game is VR, and not just limited modes of play.Got a set. Now waiting for GTVR
Thats what is worrying me as well.I am holding off until I see that this entire game is VR, and not just limited modes of play.
If it's limited to just a mode then I'll be very disappointed and it will be a HUGE mistake on their part.I am holding off until I see that this entire game is VR, and not just limited modes of play.
Wife has the AmEx, I just rock a small credit balance that is only $500. I crawled out of CC debt a number of years ago and put the $500 cap on it to prevent things from getting out of hand.If you have a credit card it won’t be charged until it ships
Agreed. The data mine leak has a VR Showroom for cars, but I hope it's not just that. Would be a major fail.If it's limited to just a mode then I'll be very disappointed and it will be a HUGE mistake on their part.
Should be one of the easiest flat games to convert to VR too.
Sony DIrect doesn't take Amex.Wife has the AmEx, I just rock a small credit balance that is only $500. I crawled out of CC debt a number of years ago and put the $500 cap on it to prevent things from getting out of hand.
Appreciate the info though.
Word.Sony DIrect doesn't take Amex.
It's a plunge for sure. Hell, even PSVR is a big investment. Definitely not a must have but it'll give access to some really memorable experiences. I'm looking forward to Village but nothing much else with what will be available at launch. The new Rush of Blood will be fun too but not $550 fun, lol.Debated it for a little but £530 with no real amazing games at launch was too much of a hard sell.
Witness the power of the PSVR2.Wow, that was easy as pie! Just clicked on the link and it was available to add to the cart with no queueing.

I can’t think of a better way for them to move these than making GTVR. It would really be a blunder on their part. Even if they limit the amount of cockpits/cars and tracks, it would still be a good amount of VR content.I am holding off until I see that this entire game is VR, and not just limited modes of play.
I'm just shocked that there aren't any heavy-hitter surprises with this PSVR2 games library. Everything comes with a caveat. RE8 was expected, Horizon looks like a knockoff. Outside of that, it's just a bunch of mobile games. The tech is great and I'm just surprised this machine doesn't have more ports of full-fledged games when that's what it's designed to do.
Original Ps VR I used play for hours Skyrim VR and Astro Bot.Do you guys play VR for over 2 hours straight without taking a break? I don't think I've run into that limitation even once, even when playing Alyx every day... I just put it on the charger whenever I'm done or taking a break.
Anyhow, there are plenty of cheap headstraps for the quest that have built-in batteries for doubling your play time, if you need that sort of thing.
It certainly seems odd that we haven't heard anything about Alyx... surely Sony reached out, so there must be a reason it isn't happening.

I agree the tech is superb, we need a 40 plus hour game Horizon looks like a tech demoI'm just shocked that there aren't any heavy-hitter surprises with this PSVR2 games library. The Quest 2 has a 2HR battery life.....
They read your Gaf posts. No mail yet from Sony. Not sure how they're prioritizing these things.

Yes, I play VR games for longer than 2HRS and its a weird argument considering people argue about Controller battery life constantly. No mail yet from Sony. Not sure how they're prioritizing these things. Been a customer since the PSP/PS3 days, and on Plus for well over a decade. Also Day 1 buys for PS4 and PS5. You'd think I'd get in an early wave
Does anyone really stay in a VR session for more than 2 hours?
I mean, that's Zuckerberg's fantasy, but I can't imagine spending that time in a headset.
They check the payment method now, but don’t charge. You will be charged couple of days before they send it (5-8days before release)Question I assume pre order u pay near the time or are you charged now
This. It needs to be the full game, not just a mode. I'll be super disappointed. If it's limited to just a mode then I'll be very disappointed and it will be a HUGE mistake on their part.

I love theater mode for watching movies and shows, so a 2HR battery life isn't ideal, at all.
lol that said, Edge is 260usd here ...In Italy since Playstation Direct will launch in early 2023, Gamestop got the exclusivity on preorders on both Dualsense Edge and PSVR2...Amazon dropped the ball.
I don't want to preorder in that place
HA! The online Sony store in Australia does, go figure. They also charge for it straight away, which is great since Amex here have a time-limited offer for a $AU100 cashback on purchases at the Sony store.Sony DIrect doesn't take Amex.
This right here is enough for me on launch day!

Really, in Europe there is only a reservation of 0€. But maybe makes sense in Australia to do so, considering the history of the countryHA! The online Sony store in Australia does, go figure. Ordered, obviously.
Couldn't you just write "Strasse"?Also preordered. But boy, that shop is a mess. Tried over an hour to complete the checkout. I always got a cryptic error message that some items might need to be checked or something (don’t remember the exact phrase).
Turns out their system doesn’t handle common chars well. In my case it was an „ß“ which they don’t liked, although this is quite common in Germany since it’s part of „Straße“ (street). They automatically shortened it with a common abbreviation („str.“)
In the end, the issue was that their credit card system don’t have an issue with special chars so the „ß“ was in the assigned address for the credit card. And that lead to that strange and wrong error message because the addresses didn’t match.
So in case someone else have a similar issue, make sure that the address for the payment method matches 100% with the one of the address in the carts summary.
Didn’t tried that out, but I guess wouldn’t have worked since it wouldn‘t have matched with my credit cards address (also the form didn’t had any issues to accept „Straße„. It was automatically changed to „Str.“ in the summaries page.)Couldn't you just write "Strasse"?
That's sort of my point. It's bad when an update is the biggest selling point for some people. NMS gets patched and ported to most anything, so that's a given. It should have worked on psvr2 day 1 anyway.
And this "patch" sort of reminds me of another game. Elite Dangerous on PCVR. Now THAT was incredible in VR, and devs already said it's not coming to PSVR2.
