I was shocked to find out that many GAFers have disabilities, such as ADD & autism. Who else has one (or many?!?!)? Please list them, so I can get a better sense of what I'm dealing with here...

No patience.. believe me it's a severe disability.
Acid Reflux... killer.

Epilepsy, though it doesn't prevent me from playing games, or watching Ninja Scroll evidentally. i forgot how many flashing frames it had.

I'm:
overweight
lazy
addicted to cigarettes and masturbation
I sweat a lot too..and not just because I'm big, because I know bigger people that dont sweat NEARLY as much as I do.

I have a mutated thumb.
You heard right, my left hand's thumb is smaller than the other and a different shape.

If it makes you feel any better my right thumb is about a centimeter longer then my left. :)

Poison Ivy does not effect me

Not necessarily all poison ivy. Most likely just the local poison ivy. Sorry to rain on your parade but I'm the same way.

I'm "morbidly obese". If you saw me you wouldn't think i'm that fat, till I whipped off my shirt.

I think I got a bit of ADD or ADHD. It was never diagnosed, but ever since I was about...12 or so I just couldn't pay attention to one thing very long. Including a lot of hobbies. Because of my ever changing hobbies I now yo-yo, diabolo, devil sticks, do card and street magic, balloon animals and hats, webdesign and act/improv. The problem is that I do all of these things just "okay" nothing really that great. I mean I'm stronger in some areas, just can't stick with any one thing for very long.

I may be slightly bipolar/manic depressive.

I also have this inkling feeling I have at least two personalities, or at least I hope so, since my life is so dull =(.

Ankylosing Spondilitis
Born with Hearing Deficiency
Occasional Iritis (inflammation of the Iris, related to Ankylosing Spondilitis)

Like most here I don't really have any disabilities other than myopia.

Oh and I am suprised more people aren't saying they have elephantiasis of the penis.

I have asthma and hay fever, although my asthma is really fucked up, it comes and goes anfetr a few years. One very memorable experience with both of these illnesses was a school trip to France. I was perfectly fine when i got there but one day in I could hardly breathe, which caused me so manyproblems, it became so difficult for me to run at all because I couldnt get enough oxygen and even walking becaem difficult. My eyes became so swollen from the hay fever as well that it really ruined the whole trip for me. Luckily, Ive not had such a bad experience with asthma, although it comes from time to time and hey fever is a bit of a constant annoyance.

Those with ADD, how have you dealt with it? Medicine? Behavioral therapy? And has it worked? I've always wondered if had it. Some days I can concentrate fine and other days my mind is bouncing around with a lot of incomplete or fragmented thoughts instead of focusing on whatever it is that I want to focus on. Probably 50/50 between the focused and unfocused days.

being hearing impaired. does that count? :D <--- here's my sign language facial expression.

edited: just added the word
"facial" just now @ 8/20/05 ~3:08 pm/central

Well my dad has retinitis pigmentosa (hereditary disease.. in our family its because of a dominant gene)... fortunately I don't have it.
Just asthma and far sightedness here.

You know there are things you can do to help with that sweating. I don't mean losing weight (though if you're overweight that would help).

Well I'm hearing impaired too, and I counted it.
