They are supposedly sequels to B/W so from that they should be new games and not an improved game like 3rd versions generally are. Outside of that we know nothing, so it's better to wait till next issue of CoroCoro for more info.

I say play the first version cause they are pretty good.

Currently I'm fighting a fisherman on what seems to be the end of route 221, I am livid at the fact that this game lacks Magikarp, I always raise a Gyarados. Haven't played it since 2007, just got into the mood tonight lol. I don't think I've seen all 150 pokemon in this game, but I hope prof. oaks gives me the national dex because my emerald battery might die one day soon.

Edit: As if I'm seeing pokemon I've never seen before right on my way to the pal park.

By the way, a while back I saw this trilogy of riff videos over jackholes that decided to do playthroughs of B/W before it came out in Japan. The second of the two didn't use the patch. I don't understand how Pokemon fans can do playthroughs in Japanese when they can't understand a damn thing.

In fairness... The guy's not a journalist. He's a student who runs a fan site, that, by virtue of luck and ease of use, has become vastly popular.

He clearly has sources, too; he scooped BW's legendary typings, and stuck by the starter evolutions when everyone else was backing away.

I have a lot more time for Serebii than a lot of people here, even though I recognise that he has a nasty habit of jumping to conclusions and using some of the world's worst Japanese translation.

I mean, Towards the Spacetime's Overcome, for fuck's sake.
