Despite being limited to local wifi and getting quite a bit of lag at times, I having some fun with this. Level 8 now and been catching a couple CP 250+ Pokemon like a Growlithe.

Last night, me and a friend went to a mall, and I was able to get some gym battles and a lot of items from pokestops.^.^ There were quite a few pokemon players we had encountered too ha ha.

Lucky eggs aren't for hatching. They give you double exp for 30 minutes.

I took 2 gyms down and walked to the middle of nowhere to take down the golf course. 1hp glitch for 40 mins, went home and found someone else took it and shes on my team.

Just give it a try with AR off (should be a slider top right of battle screen), it may not work but it has helped me when Ive been hanging in catching poke's

Yeah the satisfaction of the two I took today was matched by frustration on the third attempt where the glitch hit me. Needs a quick server side patch!

No bother, when you catch a poke with AR it takes a snapshot of your bg before it registers. Im pretty sure its hanging at that point.

What phone do you have? I usually don't like gimmicky nonsense like AR mode, but if you give it the environment it wants the effect is pretty neat. Way more interesting than the (admittedly beautiful) painted backgrounds. That said, on my friend's $50 Android handset it was pretty awful.

So I've only been giving candy to my Pokémon with XL sizes, since that's apparently supposed to be better, but I've evolved, like, four different Pokémon with XL sizes in both weight and height, but so far ALL of them have changed from XL to XS in weight upon evolving. What gives?! Does this always happen? And is the reverse true for XS? Like, does XS weight change to XL when evolving? I don't get it.

Do we have any kind of answer for this yet?

Yeah thats what happened to me. Managed to snag an decent CP Eevee infront of a Buddhist temple so thats something. A Hitmonlee or Abra would've made an awesome photo op though.

Do all Pokemon of same types have same max CP? Does max CP raise as your level does?
