They really need to get their servers up to speed asap. People are still hearing about it and trying to join in on the craze, it doesn't take much to turn people off.
Yes, or Vaporeon.
Wanted Flareon or Jolteon, got Vaporeon. Go figure.
Is that what those little green leaves are? Pokemon?
And I just came back from a run from the gym, I just happen to forget about the game everytime I'm out until I'm home.
Article in my local newspaper: "Pokemon Go Players Pelted with Eggs"

Have there been any mass meet-ups? I heard about the one in Australia that was pretty successful. Next week, San Francisco is going to have a Pokemon Go Crawl, which is a 3 mile trek from the coast to one of parks further in town. It has over 4000 people confirmed going, with over 19000 signed up. Whether that many show up or not remains to be seen, but have there been any other organized events like this in any other cities?

I've seen this passed around by my Seattle friends for the big meet-up on the 24th: https://www.facebook.com/events/266508160374258/
So it's luck of the draw whether you get a jolteon vs flareon when evolving an eevee then?
Thats a long time away, brother. They have tens of millions slamming their services on phones right now, they're not going to care about the mere thousands on Google Glass or Hololens until 2022.
Can someone do me a breakdown on how to properly track a pokemon using the footprints? Like what to look for you're going in the right/wrong direction and all that.
Cheers
Green leaves show you where a pokemon is most likely near.
Basically, when you open the "Nearby" list in the bottom right, that will show you a list of nearby pokemon. The more footprints means the further away they are. The list is ordered in terms of distance to you, and the upper left is the closest.
Basically, just get out there and start walking, particularly towards green grass rustling. That will give you the best shot at finding a pokemon.
Yep, those rustled green leaves are pokemons

Aside from the footprints, which tend to vary hugely once it gets to 3 paw prints, this should be accurate.

Of course, servers go down just as I attempt to deploy a lure/incense combo.
TBH I'm not a fan of that idea since good Pokémon could be near me but I have to sit down to use a lureOf course, servers go down just as I attempt to deploy a lure/incense combo.
hatched an egg this way. lolGps tracking is garbage on this thing. Frustrating to be sitting right on one for 10 min only to have your avatar run back and forth a block over.
Every time I go to the park I overhear someone mentioning a story about how they missed out on a Dragonite, whether it escaped from them or they experienced server issues and lost it.MOTHERFUCKING DRAGONITE, BITCHES

I don't even know! I also don't think other people using your lure makes it less effective for you or anything, but it was weird. There was another guy and a girl there when we arrived but they were standing kind of out of sight so I guess the guy didn't see them.wartortleeeee!
Hahahah what
so he dropped it just to be a dick to passersby?

Is it too low?

So, I leveled up from 9 to 12 in about 20 minutes with the lucky egg and mass evolution. Where do I go from here to optimize my progress? I don't have any outstanding pokemon yet. My best ones are all mid-200s Ratticates and Pidgeottos. Should I spend my leftover candy to level up these guys as much as possible so I can start battling? Or try to catch better pokemon?
