that would make the game 100% pay2win. I am extremely impressed that Niantic avoided any sort of pay2win aspects in the game. The only stuff that you can become more powerful with all have to be caught/found.

Thanks for the responses. There is a pokestop outside my work. Can my co workers and I put lure traps there and get a bunch of pokemon? It's only one stop though.

Haven't caught up with this thread in awhile. Has someone figured out the leveling system yet in terms of XS and XL? I can't seem to keep them constant when evolving. Just snagged a XL/XL low level Squiirtle and want a monster Blastoise.

Okay so, what's the diff between lure stops and pokestops? I'm trying to find a good place for good Pokemon. All I do now is wander around and catch random ones. Up to 30 so far and I'm level 5. In my town I have two Pokéstop and two gyms.

My team, Team Instinct holds down the gym at the Library with a 967 CP Flareon. The only other one is at the water tower. It went back and forth between brainless and dweebs until I got my 878 CP Flareon and I beat team brainless and took over. Now Instinct controls the 2 gyms in my town.

Yes. You should have just saved your stardust until after you evolved to see if it's worth it.

Man, I freaking love playing around where I live. I bike around pretty much everywhere from work to home to the park to the Isle entrance. Literally everywhere there are landmarks, even some things that are a little weird to mark, but even out on the peninsula there are landmarks every couple hundred feet due to the many monuments and murals. Also, pretty much everyone plays the game. Riding down the main street you'll see people everywhere with their phones out and with the upcoming festivals this place is gonna be a hotbed. I love it.

Just in case you don't know, incense doesn't do anything for the nearby list. If it was in that list, you have to go look for it.

Just went for a walk around the neighborhood. Popped an incense (they still suck while moving around in my neighborhood) and a lucky egg. Stock piled around 25 evolutions and just started evolving like a madman. Jumped from mid-19 to 20. Nice to see Ultra Balls. Not nice to see that it's now 50000 EXP to level up. And I thought 25000EXP was bad...

I'm jealous of the people finding Charmander and Pinsir and Kabuto just outside of their houses. I'm lucky to find an Eevee around.

Yep, just sign in on both phones. I do it all the time and have the kids watch for any good Pokemon as I'm driving.
