Pokémon Go |OT| As in "Go Outside"

I wonder how they will go about adding new Pokemon. When you get to the common plebs of newer generations, are they going to reduce the amount of Pidgey's and Rattata's? Or will new common Pokemon just spawn more often along with the old one? So instead of one Pidgey you might get a Pidgey and a Hoothoot. Hmm...
Went with a friend to take back a gym from Team Valor. I wore down and replaced an about 400CP Raticate with my freshly caught 350CP Tangela and saw a car drive into the same parking lot as us. Then I saw the gym was being attacked by an enemy team. My friend was still trying to connect on his iphone and slowly freaking out more and more because we wanted to put both our pokemon up on the gym to defend it. They retook it for Team Valor again and replaced it with another Raticate at about 450CP. This gym was out of the city but nestled between lots of neighborhoods so the spawns out here aren't at crazy, at most you'd see really powerful Eeveelutions at 700-1100CP. So I retook and gym and placed my healed Tangela again and saw the tells of battle again at the gym. My friend still trying to connect. I was out of potions to heal because I was also prestiging the gym with my Flareons and trying to counter the other player sort of, if it can work that way. I don't really know but just wanted to try keep prestige above 0. He still takes it out and I place my 650CP Flareon to defend with me out of potions and pokemon now to prestige. Flareon was there to hold as long as possible for my friend to connect and throw up his pokemon. Right at that moment he connects and puts his 500CP Venomoth up on the gym. The gym stood there with no tells of fighting on it. Then we see the car leave the parking lot. We both laughed and drove back home. Team Valor ran away....hahaha...that was a sight.
Team Instinct came in a placed a strong Vaporeon at around 1100CP with duo Flareon at around 750CP each 2 hours later.
I'm about to go travelling real soon so I want to pick up some pokemans from a bunch of places before I go... just to say I did it, you know?
I've had a bunch of pokemon run away after the first pokeball even after tossing a berry.
It really just seems to be random.
We need dusk balls for all the people going around at night.
going there in a few days. wonder if i can catch anything there.

I got 22 Pokemon ready to evolve and 9 eggs to hatch in .8 kilometers. Tomorrow is going to be a big day with Lucky egg, when I get to a place with lots of Pokestops.

Nope, you won't find anything. It's not that we can't get the app (I have it on my phone, downloaded via the US App Store), the problem is that, unlike most other countries without an official release, the Japan map is actually offline and doesn't show anything.
So yeah, all of Europe doesn't have the game (except Germany), but if they get access to the app they can play it (and therefore, mess with the servers). In Japan even if you are a tourist from the US or Australia or whatever, you are straight locked out of playing it.
are you hitting the inside of a shrinking small circle for the catch bonus and xp?

No. I killed my Elektrabuzz this way after going to the beach where they spawn and feeding a ton of candies to him. Haven't seen one since.
favoriting your pokemon should really make them nontransferable.
I have tried Spotify, Pocket Casts and Google Music. It doesn't work. POGO goes completely silent once I force another audio to play or a notification comes in.
I'm on Cyanogen somethingsomething (OPO) so maybe that explains it idk.

I have wild Tauros around where I live. Caught my first one when I was at level 9.
I live out in the inland suburbs of the California Bay Area.
Found mine at a local park around level 6 or 7 but have not a seen another since. I live on the California central coast if that means anything.

Finally got a new phone today and with it started up Pokemon Go.
Caught up with a friend I hadn't seen for over a year and we went around catching Pokemon and got lunch which was great.
Up to 27 in my Pokedex so far, think the rarest I've found is a Pinsir.

Yeah I'm kind of concerned that it's just a summer time thing that ppl will stop playing quickly. It's really up to Niantic and PC to keep players going.
I guess the worst that could happen is that it has the Twitch Plays Pokemon level of popularity and it immediately nose dives at the end (in this case when ppl get bored of grinding for the same pokes past one month).
It could've been worse. They could've left a Magikarp to taunt you.
Me too. Not to mention it's a huge office building with a food court in the basement so people are constantly putting Lures on it all day.

I'm the same level as you, literally 2.9k exp away from 17 D;
man I've only seen it on my radar once and it was 3 steps away, searched around my city for 3 miles and it never went below 3 steps. Highest it got on my list was 2nd slot
Best I got from incense was a Pinsir today, I'm level 16 tho. Also I've caught two other pinsir's before this but they are very uncommon.
I should save my incense more too tbh, especially since I don't IAP

Some night this turned out to be.
I found a Kadabra and Hitmonchan silhouette on my way to a snack run, but I was unable to decipher the footprint thing this time. It always shows that I'm getting close, but I kept getting further away, and it was already getting too late to chase them down.
Upside, I caught a Koffing on my way back home.

I've read it depends on when you get them and not when you hatch them
