Lv. 11 sucks.
Fucking lame ass CP 24 Weedle just jumped out of my Pokeball 4 times in a row.
Also, I didn't get a notification and reward for reaching Lv.11 Is there a bug?
 
Man, I don't know what's going on. Was at the Zoo catching Pokemon, but now every time I throw the ball the game freezes on the capture animation. It's done this the last 10 consecutive attempts. Luckily all of them except two were actually caught, but it's a pain in the ass having to force close the app and re-enter every time now after an encounter. :/
 
Hatched a Chansey. Knew that they had absurdly high HP, but I didn't know that they have absurdly low relative CP. My average good Pokémon are CP 1200-1600, but this Chansey is CP 380 and nearly maxed out. Meh.

Sometimes server issues cause your notification to be delayed for awhile.

Also, I'm level 20 and have had a CP30ish Weedle jump out of like 8 balls and then run away, so... I wish I could say it gets better.

I swear I never get my level up rewards until the next time I get Xp after I've already hit a level.

If the game crashes, you get the items still, but you wont know exactly what they were.
 
After hours of catching Rattatas and Pidgeys I finally encountered a Caterpie.
As I was about to catch it (I think) the App froze. Happened plenty of times while in the progress of catching, but it kinda angered me in this instance.
Man, this sucks the whole fun out of this game for me.

See my post above. I'm getting so pissed off with this game now. I went on three-hour walks the last two nighys, but won't be today because it was damn near unplayable for me earlier today.

This was me yesterday with a charmeleon. Wasted so many damn pokeballs and berries. It froze 5 times straight on the capture animation. I was royally pissed off.
Throughout the day the total amount of freezes was probably 15.

This game is fun but it's also a shitty mess.

Back when I was playing Ingress I had a grandmother come running towards my car, when I was in the parking lot of a rather large playground.

Apparently a guy driving slowly through a playground, and stopping in odd places is suspicious :).

I have three small children myself, and one of the local playgrounds is a pokestop that I added in ingress several years ago.
 
Man, how hard can it be for Niantic to patch their shit so the game doesn't hang while catching? Give a timeout message instead, the most annoying thing is the 20 seconds it takes to reboot the app every time it happens.
 
The amount of misinformation this game is spreading around RE: getting pokeballs back and other tricks that don't work is just like the original game, this is some pre-Internet hearsay and shit going around lmao
 
The game is barely working for me.
Cant catch anything.
Pokestpps mostly non responsive.
Took me 3-4 tries to get my pokemon into an empty gym spot. So battles are out of the question as well.
Also RIP 2 eggs. Just gone. Probably hatched during server problems, so i didnt get anything.
Really annoying.

The Eevee one is the worst. Heard people arguing about it. Kinda strange when you can just Google it nowadays and instantly debunk.

Most fliers are very irritating to get; they sit slightly further back from the camera so you have to flick really vigorously. High-CP fliers are an absolute pain in the ass because you can only really aim Great and Ultra Balls well with curveballs, and curveballs are harder to shoot further into the distance.

Yeah I think it's pretty amusing that we've got this stuff again.

It's hard to manufacture it in this day and age, what with the internet.

I was considering buying a shitload of coins earlier today, but I'm sure as hell not doing so until the game works reliably.

Opposite experience for me. The servers were awful but now they are great, rarely do I get the hangups I was having over the weekend.
 
do all pokemons of the same kind have the same cp range and you just find more or less leveled versions of them or do they all have different ranges?
 
Ah, server issues... we have lost so much money and time in Ingress due them, plain tickets, hotel rooms, and when we had to execute, intel map went down, ghost links blocked us, lag made us close links in the wrong order... get used to them.
 
How are you supposed to aim, by the way? Are you supposed to make the balls go above the Pokemon, or straight at it, or what? And what's the significance of the size of the ring?
