Also has anyone else got that weird glitch where the ball goes into the air and then the shadow slowly gets bigger and bigger until it consumes the screen? I thought a huge legendary was coming from the sky lol

Oh man imagine if they bring the amie features to Poke Go where you can pet and groom your mons to level them up.

And then you can buy items to customize them like hats and stuff.

lol I looked outside my office and it was just solid gray for like 5 minutes. Came out of nowhere.

Caught my 50th zubat tho
 
Runs into a low CP Poliwag, throws great, hits, it breaks out of the great ball, throws another hits the Pokémon but falls to the ground like a miss, throwing last great and Pokeball, hits but falls to the ground like a miss. Runs out of Pokeballs trying to catch a low CP Pokémon that I've caught plenty times already. Lives in rural area. I'm annoyed. My last ten regular Pokeballs again takes a sharp right off screen. It took me 30 minutes to farm those 10 Pokeballs.

I'm having the same issue. Level 9 and most Pokemon I encounter don't come near 200 CP. Like everyone is getting lucky but me.

Ok. Time for the nightly tidying up of transferring Zubats and Rattatas... Wish there was an option for automatically sending them all to the meat grinder except highest CP one. I guess I should start clicking Transfer in the captured summary.
 
Just to confirm before I spend the better part of an hour clearing out my Pokemon storage one slot at a time, there's no way to mass "Transfer" Pokemon, right? This is the most tedious process ever, if not.

Not that I'm aware of but you can transfer on the screen just after you catch it. I don't know if that helps?

It took Niantic 2 and a half years to make batch recycling available for Ingress, so I'd say start now...
 
Anybody in the SF bay area listen to Forum on KQED this morning? They devoted an hour to Pokemon Go, with plenty of time for call ins.

Hawkian, I've typed up a fairly long guide for another site that I don't mind posting here, but I want to check you're okay with that? I know you spent a while on your FAQ and I'm pretty happy just to suggest to add stuff if you want.

You can run if you don't need to catch it and value pokeballs.

If your balls are curving it's cos of something you're doing. You can curl them deliberately or you can throw them straight every single time. There's no randomness. Also if you just spam swipe up as the Pokemon appears you will hit it while the camera is zoomed in on it and get an instant hit.
