so..either the new version is worst than the predecessor..or the servers have been shit all day for me...70% of my catch attempts end up with some kind of bug..either the pokèball closing but with no movement or wth the pokèball just staying on the ground without even the close up

it's just me?
 
I swear I'm not attempting to play this while my vehicle is in motion, but I do whip it out at intersections. Today I was swinging by the office, and during a red light there was a Taurus in front of me and a Jynx behind me. Caught neither. Light turned green and I had to move on. :-(
 
Whoever thought it was a good idea to evolve magikarp with 400 should fall in a ditch because that's way worse than getting that lvl 5 magikarp from mt. Moon to lvl 20

Unfortunately it only works if the person who asks you is long sighted, else you can't fly away in time. Also, the only android app I could find for flying takes up even more battery than Go does.

When I eventually got it to trigger I found some weird tetris block looking thing instead.

it's the lack of trading that's the problem

like i don't even know how you will find the rarest pokemon to harvest for candy to power them up. what's the limit of powering up?
 
So if you get an egg when you already have 9 does it throw the oldest one away? I picked one up while at 9 I think and it discarded the egg I had in an incubator I think it was. Pretty butt. I was hoping it would just not allow me to pick up more eggs instead of throwing my shit away which had km already on it.

Also started it up 20 minutes ago just to do an occasional any around my house check. Caught a nidorina male while naked. This is the life.

Unlike the typical video game, which is played while sitting still, Pokemon Go requires people to venture out into the world to find animated characters that are tagged to different locations.

Players have been congregating in parks and other public places in the hunt for Pokemon, so NextGen Climate, a California-based political organization founded by billionaire activists Tom Steyer, seized on all the activity.

The group purchased a rare Pokemon character and located it on an Iowa college campus where it was signing up supporters Saturday. Usually 10 or so people sign up 10 per hour, but this time organizers scored about 60.

Now NextGen is taking the strategy national.

“By meeting young people where they are—whether it’s on Snapchat or at a Poké Stop—we’re getting these potential voters excited about choosing our next president,” said Suzanne Henkels, a spokeswoman for the group.

Besides Iowa, NextGen will be placing rare Pokemon in New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Nevada.

if i got it right,you shouldn't get any more eggs if you are already full
 
Every time I fight a gym I get the 1hp glitch and all my Pokemon are killed by it. Seriously killing my buzz for the game as I should be running like 4 gyms now

I went from a Nexus 6 to iPhone 6s Plus and my data was there.
 
It's been 9 days and I've been to so many different places, and have yet to see a single Dratini, and here I am sitting with a Dragonite and no way to power him up.

I live an hour and a half from that lake in Long Beach, CA that a guy reported spawns Dratini, and I'm thinking of making the drive just for that.. and maybe a trip to the aquarium while there... >_<
 
If we need candies from catching repeats to power up our pokemon then isn't that going to make Legendaries kinda weak because of their exclusivity?

Yeah same, both when training in friendly ones and tackling others. Gave one of each a shot earlier then called it a day after my dudes got screwed over by things that should have gone down already. I'm not even mashing - took it super slow on the last one I tried. Frustrating.
 
Is it me, or Pokemon Go has become my #1 work out app. I have never moved so much in my life. 42,000 steps yesterday, which is more than 12 days combined before Pokemon Go released.

Lol that's exactly what's happening. The early games were notorious for not telling you anything about their secrets (the three legendary birds are barely hinted at) so you believed anything. Similarly, we're missing Ditto and the legendaries with no communication from Niantic. It's the playground all over again.

Nope, not just you. Im a pretty active person and have been taking extra walks/rides outside, and anecdotally, so have lots of other people. It may not cure obesity, but its nice seeing people walk more outside.

They could have an alternative method of leveling up. They probably won't appear with low CP anyway. At least I'd hope not.
 
This app is so fucked. Literally 30 people around me just caught a Starmie and my game decides to give me that stupid ass "Our Servers" screen. I'm convinced iPhones are terrible for this game.
 
For some reason, now when I try and open the app it asks me to sign up, or log in the trainer club (have no idea what that is). I must have accidentally clicked "try different account" when the log in failed?

Anyway I clicked sign up, cos I couldn't work out what else to click, then it asked me to sign in to gmail and it says servers are overloaded. Did I fuck this up though and reset my account or something?
