Check your recents. The egg will have hatched, but if the servers are down the animation doesn't play.
Walked around my neighborhood. Met a kid and his dad and talked for a second. Also met another guy who I assume was in high school. Alright people. First people I've talked with about the game even though I was downtown earlier today and played for 2.5 hours. Didn't get anything new sadly. There was a dratini, abra, and poliwag somewhere, but can't for the fuck of god find them or they just disappeared too since the servers are jacked. At least I got a pidgeotto I guess even if it isn't new.
Had this happen to me earlier today. I think it just hatches, but you didn't get the animation. Sort your pokemon by recent and look to see if there's one you don't remember catching. I had a bellsprout I swear I don't remember catching and I think it was from an egg.
You shouldn't be able to get eggs unless you have room I'm told.

You can't get additional eggs if you're already full. Either it hatched and didn't tell you (check your recent sort), or it glitched and deleted your egg (some have reported this).

Went to the mall for some food and in the mall is a 3 pokestop grouping. While I was eating 2 of the pokestops got lures and I decided to drop a lure at the 3rd pokestop.
When I was done eating, went down to the main level and saw a whole bunch of people sitting around capturing mons. Grabbed myself a nice 580 Cloyster to counter all the Pidgeots in the area.

Thanks guys, turns out I got it. Shows up by sorting from most recent but doesn't show up in activity log. It was a Bulbasaur btw.

I know! I got my Snorlax now so I'm ready to start contributing. I tried training at an instinct gym earlier and my 400cp guys just got wrecked. So now that I have a 1200 something Snorlax I should be able to do some good damage. Instinct needs it around here, it's all mystic and valor (including my wife, ugh).
I guess I'm fortunate I got one from an egg I hatched. Not a high-level CP, but it's one more that I can knock off my list!
Oh does pokemon max CP go up along with your player level? I was thinking each pokemon had a max CP at the time of capture. That's much better if true.

My pokedex just glitched. No matter what pokemon I choose to view it takes me back to Bulbasaur and the text is arranged vertically.

My problem is more like it freezes everytime I try to capture a pokemon that is not a ratatta, pidgey, hypno, spearow
Was on a walk today and found a kangaskhan, landed a pokeball on it but then had the game stop responding. Launched it again, no sign of it
I've basically given up. The game is unplayable in its current state.
Been like this for me since day one on Moto X

I only have one Pokémon in my dex because Japan so I don't know about the first issue, but I do have the second.

Lucky, I heard tons of people say coast lines are hotspots. ( for pokemon spawns maybe not pokestops)

It rained a little in new york, kinda stopped me from walking as much. Today i did notice more glitches. I hope this is fixed asap.
Boardwalk along the beach in NJ had tons of stops, and tons of water Pokemon. I work on the Hudson River and I find tons of psyduck, tentacool, polywag, and magikarp. (And zubat, and clefairy, and zubat. And zubat.)

Don't let it connected, use your phone til 25% or so and then recharge it, otherwise you will really hit the battery life. However, if your battery doesn't have a 2.1A output, you should connect it earlier, at about 50%, since it won't be able to keep up pace.

yeah maybe around 50% I'll connect then. I have a massive zerolemon 10,000mah battery on my note 4 but this game still kills it lol

I've had that text problem since I started using the app. Never seen the Pokedex entries as they were intended to look. ._.
I had this problem on two separate phones up until the update came out. So make sure you're up to date I guess, but other than that I don't know.

I don't have it active yet in my area, but from what I saw and read (especially considering the data usage) I believe Go uses less battery than Ingress when you create links and fields. Try not to trigger the ultra brightness mode in the Note 4, it's a battery killer.

All depends on your location. Rattatas, eeves, zubats are pretty freaking common in my neck of the woods.

Weird.
I also caught a floating round, gassy poison type and a Blue rodent type with s female symbol next to its name, can't boot my game right now though and forgot their names, urg. I have Bulbasaur too but I assume he's a starter?
