I thought I would have gotten a nugget but got Heart Scales instead. I like the Heart Scales better, imo.

But, what Event are you talking of? I don't think there were any other way to finish the demo at all. Well, whatever. I wasn't expecting much anyway but I still wanted to play.

If I get any other codes from the Newsletter, I'll give them out.

Oh it's not an "event" in the pokemon sense. When people datamined the demo they found that one of the trips steven takes you to involves getting a nugget as your price, it's assumed to be cut. So with you mentioning those I figured someone actually managed to get one somehow?

It's pretty minor but I wouldn't have minded grabbing that nugget that's all

I redeemed it few min ago and downloaded the demo.

I'm surprised I didnt get any newsletter for it though because I got one for the Smash Bros permanent demo few weeks back.

The fact that you can't actually catch anything (aside from the one gimme) and build your own team in the demo kind of sucks.

That's what Pokemon's all about to me. These battles are kind of meaningless now.

There is also you having to try really hard/rely on AI luck to lose the few battles there are due to how overlevelled you are.

I manged to lose the double battle by killing my partner then getting swept as the AI was able to set up. I then get told to try healing with super potions despite only having hyper potions...

After playing Smash 3DS a ton, using the joystick to control on a grid feels really off...

Not much to say about the demo. The music is nice, but seems a bit---too fast. And I like the dialouge being a bit more lively. The television on the bottom screen's a nice touch, I loved that stuff in Ruby and Sapphire (I hope they have all those interviews and this time they're shared via WiFi), but I guess in the main game you can turn it off since it bothers me eyes when I keep looking down at it and am trying to focus on the top.

I love the exchange between Tabitha and Matt, they really did good with Team Aqua and Team Magma it seems, they actually seem memorable whereas in the original RS they were extremely generic and unmemorable.

Still no code, but I'm not worried. Somebody figured out how to make thousands of people opt-in to email advertisements, I can't honestly see them then going, "No, let's only send it to a few of those people. Here, help me burn some of this money, I hate it."

About 15 minutes. About five fights, plus optional Wild Pokemon.

But afterwards you can take on a few Trainers using all the Hoenn Starters + Glalie.
