He said it right in the interview
Like I said before, the fact that he's following this mindset doesn't give me much hope that it'll come back anytime soon.
I've never experienced it either. It will sad if it is only Battle tower with the Maison modes added complete with mostly recycled movesets from the subway.Emerald's battle frontier is unmatched, they better kept it in. >.>
Move Tutors are back, and he is hiding something, probably BF... or maybe not. There should be some kind of simple Battle Tower at least, that's for sure, and he didn't mention that either.Trainer customization isn't the only feature that Pokémon fans want to see in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The Battle Frontier, which features a variety of advanced challenges in a theme park-like setting, is another popular feature that has lately been absent from the series. Will it also be missing in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire?
When I asked Ohmori, he seemed to consider his words carefully: "All I can really say is that we have quite a lot of content for after players finish the game this time around. We also have a lot of features like contests and secret bases, so right now we're only really talking about those."
Ohmori did, however, confirm that move tutors will be in this version, and that certain Pokémon will be able to learn moves they couldn't learn before. As for the rest of the postgame content, expect an optional quest centered around Mega Rayquaza, plus the usual array of legendary Pokémon and hidden dungeons.
M-Mega Glalie.
Fuck, you, Gamefreak. I know you're doing some pretty shitty, underhanded stuff, but then you throw in a Mega for one of my favorite Pokemon of all time...and I know I can't hold back.
I still have my Glalie from Emerald. Named it after a girl I liked, lol.
Your crush evolved into a MEGA crush
why would name a Glalie after your crush!
I am a huge Pokemon fan, and will get this to get all the Megas for the next game that will have custom characters, but as soon as I get all the Megas I'll go right back to play X/Y outside of some post game content. Not being able to customize your character is ridiculous. Shame, this looks so much improved from X/Y but will not have a non custom character as my main version of Pokemon.:|
What a dumb non-reason to remove a feature that everyone loved.
Nope. So creepyit doesn't close its mouth?

Flying around looks really cool, I must say.
We already know search pokemon can come with rare moves, so it isn't out of the questionSorry if old.
I just noticed something interesting here:

Fake out is both a level -- move and an Egg move. IIRC a wild Skitty would not come with it.
I wonder if that means if hidden Pokemon come with egg moves.
Sigh, oh well, can't wait for Pokemon Z, the real Gen 6 game.
Taken from Smogon:
Mega Steelix gets Sand Force and it's stats are 75/125/230/55/95/30
Mega Glaile gets Refrigerate and it's stats are 80/120/80/120/80/100
When you guys say trainer customization are you talking about clothing? Or skin color and hair at the start? Or both?
I'd say no. I was dissapointed at the lack of character customization but was still looking forward to it, but the more I've thought about it the more pissed off it makes me. I loved Pokemon, and have eagerly awaited the gen 3 remakes, but custom characters is not a "feature" its who you are. And in a game like Pokemon it is of utmost importance. It is not something they can take out and get away with it and yet they have. I'm surprised there isn't more of an uproar over this, and no because the original gen 3 games didn't have custom characters is not an excuse.I'm unsure about this game. The new features look great, the updated features are amazing and I like a good number of the new megas.
But the lack player customization is a huge point off for me. I loved it in XY and I would travel city to city looking for new clothes daily.
Am I being to unforgiving with Game Freak this time?
If not the Battle Frontier, then we'll have something else Battley.
Anyway, I was thinking and there may be a logical reason behind no patch...at least for not having them in your game.
Say you patched it and you shifted the Beedrillite over and it's on your Beedrill in your party. Now, say you delete the patch, or move the game onto an unpatched machine and play there. BAM. Glitch data, broken game.
Though they should at least have done a patch so you can see them in battle for full compatibility
Their reasoning is that trainer customization in XY was just to fit the region and give it its own flair and therefore putting it in ORAS would make no sense.Wow. I Don't get that decision at all.
Fucking a
Can we at least customize our looks for wi-fi battles? I mean like in Gen V how we had different trainer types to choose from. We need something to differentiate ourselves do that we are not all male and female clones.
Apparently Wi-fi battles just use 2D portraits of your character. smh, GF
So we all look the same? Wth Gamefreak!
But they don't have the megas!Pretty much, except those French fellas, they have style.
