Let's Go Johto

Diamond Pearl Remakes????

don't really care about Diamond/Pearl remakes but i really want Let's Go Johto!

Don't get your hopes up too much, this is a pokemon presentation not a direct these tend to be focused on other things besides games. I expect a tease for what comes later this year.

The way they are to rushing game development(if one can call development) and let their games go very umpolished, I wouldn't doubt they would announce new games already. People eat in their hand, they don't have a thing to worry.

I wish they would take some of the billions they have and expand and update there engine so that there games look like something at least from the year 2015. Pokemon deserves better than what it's currently getting.

As much as I'd love diamond and pearl remaster I would really like to go back to johto

Nintendo will never top silver/gold/crystal

Excited. Hope it's Diamond/Pearl Remake and Let's Go! Johto. But I'm down for any good Pokemon content.

Gen 4 is the worst gen imo but most of its issues can definitely be fixed in a remake.

Hopefully they don't screw it up like the Gen 3 remakes

Give me Let's Go Jotho or give me death
I'd take Diamond/Pearl/Platinum too

To many, diamond and pearl did (especially platinum) Which I would also argue was the peak of game freak in general.

but g/s/c/hg/SS will always have a special place in my childhood memories

I just replayed Sword and Shield. Aside from a lesser amount of content, I'd say the games aren't nearly as bad as people (including myself) felt at release. I hope the changes to the gym format can be made permanent. I loved how they reemphasized the gyms by leaning into professional sports. I'd say that the gyms themselves felt better than any other game I've played.

I'm looking forward to any mainline game they announce.

Pokemon deserves a fully-fledged open-world next-gen game, not the stale shit it's been getting for years. Gen 4 remakes will be a novelty for a few months before we're reminded of how little satisfying or replayable these games are. Oh well - let's all mindlessly slop this soupy shit delivered on a 500 gigaflop system and a shitty CPU.

Don't get me wrong I loved D/P/P I spent hundreds of hours on that game as a kid just on using the pokeradar to chain Pokémon for shinies.

But as you said the member berries will also be there for g/s/c mainly for the fact it was actually challenging at times and there was so much content in one game.

Edit: just made a thread instead
