Biden on Leno:

Let me put it this way: I don't know -- the neighborhood I grew up, even the neighborhood I live in now, which is a really nice neighborhood, I don't know many plumbers who are making $250,000 a year and worried about it. We're kind of worried about Joe the fireman, Joe the policeman, Joe the real plumber with a license.

In the roast, McCain was funnier overall but I think Obama had some of the best zingers. You could tell the AIG zinger hit the room pretty hard. Also the Rudy cross-dressing zinger was great as well. :lol I liked the under-handed jab at McCain's "tough" primary battle. I think the "too awesome" bit was Obama's best delivered line.

But McCain just knows how to deliver deadpan comedy. You can tell he's had some practice at it and enjoys it. It just amazes me how McCain can deliver comedy lines relatively smooth but struggles with his own campaign message.

Props to the writers for both McCain and Obama.

The very definition of pwndizzled. But I'm sorry, I almost didn't read that because this was above it:

This is what I was talking about earlier. The Obama campaign has to be careful not to appear to be picking a fight with Joe the Plumber.

If this was Obama, this would be a huge mistake. Because it's Biden, it's just a Bideny mistake. But he still shouldn't have said it.

Where's the mistake? It's funny and it's true. Joe the Plumber is a fucking pathetic fraud.

Frankly the only mistake Biden made was going into his small town spiel instead of ridiculing how heartfelt Joe is in his defense of people making 5 times what he does.

Searching Youtube for Maher on Larry King reveals that he's been on that show about a million times.

So let the media tear him apart instead.

The guy isn't a licensed plumber, only made $40,000 and the company he represented as making more than $250,000 a year makes less than half that. If you point these things out no one is going to look at it and go "stop picking on Joe you big meanie!"

McCain about to show up on Letterman, let's see how this goes :lol

Joe lied, toilets died!

What part of that do you not undestand, Anihawk?

I know the guy's a fraud, but I don't want the Democratic ticket attacking the guy and then being made to look like a bunch of asses attacking a non-political figure.

I'm kind of with you on this one. The guys a total fraud but let the media do its work and stay out of it, just like how they handled Palin(most of the time).

Exposing him as a complete liar isn't an attack, and I don't think anyone is gonna buy into the claim that the Obama campaign is attacking him.

LOL @ Colbert:

"Obama is spending more on attack ads than anyone in history. Did you know Lord of the Rings was an attack ad that Obama made against McCain. McCain is Gollum and Obama is 'the precious'. ":lol

I have a feeling the polls are going to tighten very soon... (this SNL thing is going to be good for Palin, and slowly people are going to start to pity her and McCain... just like what happened in New Hampshire with Obama/Clinton).

Though I still think Obama has this election locked up unless something major happens that swings it around.

"I screwed up"

:lol
