I find it to be such an interesting coincidence that most of the elections in our history have been blowouts, and yet with the recent explosion of cable news networks, all of a sudden every race is close!

Let's not kid ourselves, folks: "the race is tightening" is a pretty silly media narrative aimed at keeping people watching and listening. Anybody with a brain knew at the start of November that Bush would win, and everybody with a brain now knows that Obama will win. The election is over. Obama has won. All we have to do is go make it official on Tuesday.

Election night is going to be so amazing for these people :lol

Just gives them a basis to say the election was stolen by the vast liberal conspiracy against wingnuts. Because clearly if these super-secret leaked internal polls are wrong, there's something going on.

According to the latest reports from Dick Morris, McCain is closing fast on Obama's leads in Vermont, Hawaii, and Oklahoma, but Obama is staging a dramatic come from behind performance in Tennessee and New York.

THIS IS ANYBODY'S GAME FOLKS.

Those internal GOP polls are really terrible.. talk about a way to fire up your base so they'll be absolutely insane when McCain loses the election decisively.

I think this is basically correct. The Republicans know they will lose, so their media apparatus is already sowing the seeds to de-legitimize the Obama Administration.

Lets not forget that the same week Clinton was sworn-in, a group of Congressional Republicans met and semi-officially began plans on how they would impeach him.

We may win back the White House, but we are going straight back to 90s era politics. A long, sad, pathetic war against President Obama.

Too late to worry now. The die has been cast. A third of the voters have already spoken. The rest will go out on Tuesday and make their intentions known. By Wednesday we should have a new President elect.

No more polls. No more predictions. Have some faith in the American people.

Still worried?
Make some calls. Volunteer.
Believe and HOPE.

I don't know why, but I'm scared to death. Regardless of which candidate wins, election day is going to shock the predictors.

Umm...why?
Because the Obama acolytes have called my house 5 times today, after telling and threatening them not to call my house anymore. Now he is definitely not in my consideration anymore, Nader or McCain is going to get my vote. I'm tired of this shit.

So you're going to base your decision on who should be the most powerful person in the world based on how many damn kids keep calling your house? :lol

I'm going to assume this is a joke post, because only a fucking idiot would base their vote on who bugged them the least.

go with Nader if you have to, ya idiot

Why? Doesn't everyone make voting decisions based on how many calls you get from a particular candidate? Forget the issues, don't bother me on the phone even though I could easily block that number, turn down the ringer, ignore the call because I have caller id or just not answer the phone.

Obama told everyone to make calls for him, so they're doing it. Don't ruin the country because you're annoyed.

It's been going on all last month and it has finally culminated into getting called multiple times a day over the past week. I'm trying to paint my bathroom today and all I hear is my fucking phone ringing all day like every goddamn 10 minutes. They don't leave a message on the answering machine and when I finally answer it, it is someone from the fucking campaign telling me to vote and asking me who I am going to vote form. How many goddamn times do I have to tell a group to stop ringing me house? The funny thing is, it is not even me that this happening to, I spoke to my parents and a friend today and they are all out of their goddamn minds too. My friend even said they came to his door too ontop of the phone calls.

What's with all of this 'change the world' talk?

I keep hearing Obama saying that but have no idea what he means. His foreign policy isn't much different than Hillary Clinton's, it's just a sane and rational foreign policy. What is he going to do exactly? This really gets ridiculous sometimes.

I think he means not get us into dumb wars. That would indeed be changing the world.

Your whole gimmick is based on provoking. Just as your vote post is today. We don't give a shit if you vote for him or not dude.

WTF, did someone shutdown the electric fence around the OT and let the gaming side trickle in again?

That's a pretty big change for the world, considering the last eight years.

So ...hey I have some friends that can come over and paint that bathroom for you. Just think of them as Joe the painters. They'll do a bang up job. You can sleep the day away and turn the ringer off on your phone. They will even drop you off at your nearest polling station on Tuesday.
How about it?
Can I count on your vote for Obama now?

Are we really asking how the President of the United States could change the world? Really?

That's the phony argument. Either Obama is so marxist and socialist and radical that he is utterly going to destroy the United States or the presidency has no power at all. Doesn't effect the economy or anything else. And it's useless job but we still need McCain in there.

I think Fox News will probably run a week long special on how ACORN stole the election for Obama right after their special on how Obama bought the election.

That will be Sean Hannity material for at least 3 months.

Obviously you do if you are going back through my entire post history to come up with those quotes. You're calling me an idiot when you think I was actually being serious in those threads. :lol :lol :lol

This. Prepare for years of manufactured 'scandals'.

There were tons of fake scandals before the GOP finally hit paydirt with the stained blue dress.
