I dont really care who wins anymore. Anyone who actually looks beyond the hype sees we are fucked and both candidates are stooges but god I would piss myself laughing if McCain found a way to win.

The way Gaf would be would certainly be worth pissing oneself.

There is much knowledge in this post.

If there ever was an argument that who we elect does not matter, the past eight years took a big stinky shit all over it.

And the 2000 election came during a time of peace of prosperity. If this election doesn't matter, nothing does.

ok, when is the new thread coming?

and just for shits and giggles:

Obama is going to win. not 'may win' or 'could win' or 'will likely win' it is 'he will win'.

bask in your hopium!

(and then GOTV)

Would I be wrong in saying that it would pretty much take an act of god for McCain to win? Because that's what i'm thinking now.

Yeah, it's pretty pathetic that people can still be stupid enough to think that things will be pretty much the same no matter who is elected. I can hardly imagine what the world would be like if Gore had been elected in 2000. Maybe it would be worse, maybe it would be better, but I can't imagine it being the same.

I think Ami is makig it tomorrow.

PPP's first poll of the night (many coming):

Virginia

Barack Obama 52
John McCain 46

Barack Obama led in all seven surveys PPP conducted in Virginia this year.

The race has tightened since last week when we found Obama leading 52-43 in the state. The undecideds may be moving toward John McCain but the Democratic nominee has not lost any ground and given that he's over 50% that's a good sign for his prospects there.
http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/

McCain picks up a few points, Obama still holding steady over 50%.

Yeah, it's convenient to some people out there to have a sudden case of amnesia.

And guess what, JOHN MCCAIN ISN'T BUSH, IF OBAMA WANTED TO RUN AGAINST BUSH, HE SHOULD HAVE DONE IT 4 YEARS AGO.

Did I just BLOW YOUR MIND?

Your right who we elect does matter on somethings. But Things like our Workforce it does not matter who we elect. The Country has been sending jobs overseas non stop. Our Country does not have the Backbone to rebuild the Economy.

Hell Obama has even said he doesn't care if his policies bankrupt a whole section of the Energy production market costing hundreds of thousands of jobs.

But who knows maybe we can all get jobs in Obama's Civilian Defense Force he wants to create to rival the Military.

Anyone who's ever taken a class in economics understands that it's stupid to hold the President completely responsible for the economic situation, but it's also stupid to say that the President doesn't make any impact on the economy. The real truth is somewhere in the middle.

I'm not even going to address the rest of your post because I have no clue what you were rambling about.

note: it is inadvisable to borrow john mccain's talking points verbatim, as they are currently in the process of being objectively proved to be the worst talking points

We should though if we have the time to spare... we won't make money outright, but we'll get a college education on the gov't's dime and we'll help make America, and the world a better place.

No,nonnonono. Remember the rule of right-wing political talking points: Clinton didn't drive the economy into the ground, he lucked into it. Therefor, the only credit he ought to get during the 90s is for not fucking things up! You see, it was a miracle!

Uhm, I used the comma properly to emphasize the word "sadly". There was nothing wrong with the usage of my comma.

It's like beginning a sentence like this:

Although, I would say you are still a dumbass.

Don't do drugs kids, and go back to school.

Your certainly correct. Clinton benefitted alot from the Dot Com Bubble for instance. It popped after he was out of Office so Bush got stuck with the negatives of the burst bubble.

Presidents have some impact on the Economy but its not nearly as much as some people like to think. The Dot Com bubble created a ton of temporary jobs and when it burst all those jobs went away leaving one president with a positive job growth and another a negative.

Our country for a long time has been living on credit. Good jobs consistently are exported out of the country so these companies can keep specific profit margins American Citizens be damned. So American Citizens are left to take lower paying jobs and suddenly are finding living on Credit has fucked them.

Well our country living on Credit is coming back to fuck us on a National level now.

San Francisco Chronicle interview regarding the Energy Industry.

Barack Obama Speech in July regarding his new Defense Force he wants to setup thats just as powerful and as well funded as the military.

Very police state style thinking with that one

So far i've got Redstate, freerepublic, conservativesforum, and rapture ready bookmarked. For when obama wins on tuesday, I will gorge myself on their delicious bitter tears!
