Isnt Polygon the one under new ownership that fired a good portion of the writers and a bunch resigned leaving the company to just be a click bait center?

We see a white police officer shoving one of these men; another officer has a Black man pushed up against a brick wall. In a later scene, we see a police officer character announcing to a bullpen, "Us cops, we've gotta protect each other." The implication is clear — the cops are like just another gang on the streets, protecting their own. But more specifically, they're a gang that's implied to have a racist bent. Put that together with the imprisonment of Lucia and it all fits.

Why is it always the Polygon's and the Kotaku's? One of the timeless and beloved aspects of GTA is that it literally spares no one/side from being teased or insulted. These wannabe game journos can't be unemployed fast enough. I have to live life infused with political nonsense from both sides, why try to weave this nonsense into our last bastion of refuge? You want us to be miserable in our dreams too?
 
It's so fucking sad to see these "journalists" desperately trying to find any angle they can to fuel the cultural wars. I mean there's so many articles you could write about this titan of a game, both positive or critical, but they chose this drivel in an attempt at getting clicks.

btw optional fem-protag in GTA is long overdue and opens up a broad set of gameplay possibilities like more female-orientedd jobs (kinda teased in trailer).

OP, you are the audience that's keeping them alive and letting them sell ads. Spend time on sites and reading writers that you actually like. Try it.
 
Eh, nothing particulary wrong with this article, it's like if I was writing an article on how great the FF7 remake duology is (so far), it's an opinion piece, the author sees some elments that others might not see, doesn't mean she's particulary wrong to think that.

Don't let it rot your brain. GTA6 is probably going to break sales records. I saw an awesome trailer and there's lots of people here who think so too. That's what you have to focus on.
 
Its so weird to see these articles that is written with some sort of pro-black angle, and then you look at the author and its some middle-aged white woman behind it.

I didnt think he was black either. I thought it could've been Trevor's meth head friend from GTAV.
 
It was 2:46 seconds of cut scenes and not one ounce of gameplay. Im sure it will sell millions regardless, but if there was anything i took from what they showed yesterday its that the female lead is a horndog and there's going to be plenty of awkward sex cutscenes in the game
 
Thankfully their audience isn't big enough to keep them going. It wasn't nice knowing you, enjoy unemployment.
