I don't mind the lack of x-men anymore, even heavy MCU focus is fine. But it better have a Capcom side. Just MCU (I'm sure I would still play it) would be wack

Eh...

If we've already heard no X-Men and even a rumored 2v2, I'm pretty sure if it was Marvel-only characters we would have gotten the "no Capcom characters" thing in the beginning as well.

People are just scared like always.
 
I really only play the versus games for capcom. So while I would still buy it. A lot of the hype for me would die with just marvel characters. Especially if capcom characters are just guests and not equal to the marvel roster.

This thread is like the worst game of "telephone" ever.

Whatever anybody heard last is suddenly true and carries on for a few pages until somebody hears something else.
 
A MSH2 would be great, but I still can't get over the fact that maybe 0 X-Men will show up. I'll have to get used to it if it turns to be true.

I'll be happy as long as we get Daredevil at the very least.

There ain't much else to discuss until we get more concrete info. So we might as well discuss possibilities
 
Ah yes the very specific rumor of a new Marvel Vs. Capcom game is coming and people are saying no Capcom characters.

Clearly the Capcom part of the title is just to show how they tried to fight Marvel for character inclusions on the Marvel side.

Thor 2 the dark world is a running joke on GAF polls, just like saying "Thanos does ___" on spoiler threads is a running joke.

Just assumptions to play it safe on expectations.
If it's apparently not being called MVC4, maybe it won't have Capcom in the title at all.

Maybe it goes back to Childreb of the atom route and is just guest capcom chacraters.

Maybe theres no 4 in the title kinda like a reboot of some sort. Just Marvel vs Capcom:(new subtitle)
 
There's no hard info on no capcom. But we should brace for the possibility that perhaps that side of the roster plays a smaller role this time around.

Right now I bet we get akuma. But I wouldn't be surprised to see a roster with 70% marvel.

Nothing confirmed obviously but I'm just gonna brace for the worse just in case. So if I'm wrong I'll feel a lot better.

Yeah, it could easily just be that as well.

But apparently it still IS called Marvel vs. Capcom, just the 4 might be missing from the title.
So if the game is real there will definitely be both Marvel and Capcom characters in it and playable.

Personally I would buy it either way but I think a Marvel vs. Capcom game would sell loads more than just a new Marvel Super Heroes game, even if it's still developed by Capcom.
 
You would think Capcom of all developers know the trouble it causes when you start using likeness rights of actors in a video game.

Sure fire way this game will never go back on sale once certain actor's contracts are up.
 
What would be pretty cool, imo, is if they removed SF characters from the Capcom side to match the no xmen characters. Since that's where it all started.

That would leave room on both sides of the roster for new representation.
