Popeyes is bringing back its popular $5 Bonafide Big Box from March 20th - March 31st, 2017.

The chain’s $5 Bonafide Bigbox is available in two variations – either with two pieces of mixed Popeyes Bonafide bone-in-chicken, or three freshly prepared Handcrafted Tenders, plus two Signature Sides and a Buttermilk Biscuit.

As always, Big Box fans can choose from a variety of sides, including Red Beans & Rice, Mashed Potatoes and Cajun Gravy, Cajun Fries, Green Beans or Cole Slaw.

Popeyes $5 Bonafide Big Box is available at participating locations nationwide for this limited time.

I think it's the best chain chicken. Blows away KFC and the random chains we have here in NYC like Kennedy's. Plus their biscuits are amazing. I always go with the chickeb tenders though, much easier to eat in a hurry and their blackened ranch is dope af.

Maybe other places have better Popeye's, but ours is just a serious step down when you could just go get some cajun chicken at Bojangles. The deal sounds pretty nice though.

Of course they taste artificial, it's because they are artificial. Nothing will beat a true southern hand made biscuit, hell even Bob Evans blows them out of the water. But for what they are, I think they're the best of their league. I kinda dig the texture.
