I like both Raising Cane's and Popeyes. There aren't any KFCs around here and I've never been to the one El Pollo Loco location we've got.
To preface, I don't eat fried chicken on a bone anymore. It's messy, gross and just not worth the time. Five me fingers, tenders, strips, nuggets...whatever you want to call it. Just keep the bone out.
Raising Cane's food generally tastes fresher, but that's largely helped by their limited menu. Chicken, Fries, Bread, and Coleslaw. That's about all they do and it's all good.
Popeyes is good as well but I often feel like I'm getting more batter and skin than chicken. Of course their sides are generally good but it definitely has a more "fast food" feel than Raising Cane's and it always makes me feel a bit sicker because of it.
Never cared for Chik-Fil-A.
