lol yeah and Crown and all the other places that look exactly the same and have the exact same menu. I don't know why they're so popular...

Crown, Kennedy, Chubby Burgers, sure I'm missing a bunch, are all kinda fascinating. They're all Halal, Afghan owned, and have literally the same menu. They generally setup in big ethnic neighborhoods and stay open late. It's a very NYC city thing, and sometimes I just want a shitty double cheese burger, crisp fries, and a soda for cheap. We have tons of them in Queens, and over on Junction there are like 3 on the same block.

I have never seen a Popeyes in MD with mac n cheese. Cajun fries 2x or mashed potatoes and coleslaw until that changes.

Going to have to stop by this week and grab this. I actually ate lunch there but got their chicken waffle tenders.

Scooter you hurt me!

Also any notice KFC really started adding more salt to their tenders

My bro brought a 6 piece and I tasted one, it was like eating a tablespoon of salt
Chicken was dry as fuck and the aftertaste was salty
My blood pressure climbed like 15 points
Usually KFC tenders are good, but either this batch made was horrible over cooked or new recipe is garbage

Popeyes is legit
3 pcs Tenders with Fries + Mac n' Cheese (Rice n' Beans to swap

Also where did all the Cajun Sparkle go!
No one around my Popeyes has it

I had Popeyes today for the first time in my life, I was kind of excited after hearing GAF praise. My expectations were in check however, I get that it's fast food after all. But, In N Out is fast food and that is God tier.. so I remained open.

My chicken was re-heated from frozen (clearly), rubbery, shaped like a rectangle and the sauce (tried 3) was barf tier. Sorry guys, worse than even KFC IMO and I hate KFC. I would eat Raising Cane's any day over either of these chains.

edit. Cajun frys were good actually.

Well fuck me I'm def getting some Popeyes tomorrow now. I've only ever gotten the mashed potatoes, are any of the other sides really that good? Was thinking of the red beans/rice but how is the jambalaya or mac n cheese?

So my local Popeye's serves mac n cheese and...it's bad. Really bad. Cardboard aftertaste bad. Other than that, chicken tenders with sweet heat sauce is the truth.

Love that chicken at popeye's. I live alone but I'll occasionally buy a box of chicken to stick in the fridge to snack on all week. Cold, spicy, fried chicken. Yum.

I like both Raising Cane's and Popeyes. There aren't any KFCs around here and I've never been to the one El Pollo Loco location we've got.

To preface, I don't eat fried chicken on a bone anymore. It's messy, gross and just not worth the time. Five me fingers, tenders, strips, nuggets...whatever you want to call it. Just keep the bone out.

Raising Cane's food generally tastes fresher, but that's largely helped by their limited menu. Chicken, Fries, Bread, and Coleslaw. That's about all they do and it's all good.

Popeyes is good as well but I often feel like I'm getting more batter and skin than chicken. Of course their sides are generally good but it definitely has a more "fast food" feel than Raising Cane's and it always makes me feel a bit sicker because of it.

Never cared for Chik-Fil-A.

Spicy Tenders with cajun fries & red beans w/ rice sound great. I don't think blackened tenders are included in the deal which is kind of a letdown. Those tenders are super juicy and great.
