The summit of beauty and love – and Gaga was her name. Her space-disco ode to the planet of sex sounds even more like Madonna than you'd expect, especially "Papa Don't Preach," chanting, "Goddess of love, take me to your leader!" But give Gaga credit for restraint: She waits three whole minutes for the Uranus joke.

Does anyone else hear the Madonna comparison?

Her first two albums are by and large basic trash outside the singles. And even the singles haven't aged well. Apart from SOS, its power.

I don't really get the love for Good Girl Gone Bad either. Outside of the singles and Breakin' Jesus.

Rated R is her most consistently good effort. Not a skippable song on there. Loud, good singles minus California King Bed and Cheers, eh album. Talk That Talk, good singles, eh album. Unapologetic, pretty good overall. But not on Rated R's level.
