Portable Gaming is addictive!

Seriously. I go out of my way to make time for my DS. Sneak some game time in the bathroom at work while taking a crapper. Having someone else drive us to lunch so I can play. Playing while waiting for a movie to start at a movie theater. I even play it more than my consoles at home sometimes! Is it just me? Or am I some kind of sick portable gaming crack baby? :lol

I was hooked on portable gaming ever since I got out of college, got a job, got a girlfriend, got more drawing time, etc., etc.

only way to sneak in gaming in an otherwise busy atmosphere.

Games like FFI&II, FFTA... PERFECT to play while driving. Stop at a red light, fight a battle, complete a turn, put it down, repeat. Seriously. Metal Slug, however. Not so good to play while driving. :( But damn good anywhere else!

How sad. You should get some console games. You may have consoles as you say but do you have ... console games?? DS is nothing compared to real gaming.

I'm the same way. I play my GBA SP waaay more than my PS2 or xbox or GC (well, before it was stolen) I love it. I play in bed, at the coffee shop, if Im stuck waiting in line anywhere. I find any excuse to take public transportation anywhere (not easy in LA) just to find an excuse to play. Then I find myself engorssed in that game so when I get home I want to keep playing it. It's the best in bed. Crawl under the covers and play till I fall asleep. When it starts falling out of my hands, I just put it on the night stand and go back to playing when I wake up if I dont have to go to work. Once Advance Wars DS comes out, I'm sure that will eat up all my time. I am only DYING to get a PSP :(

I hope someone Nintendo, Sony I dont care who really creates an online community of handheld users. PSP Live! or somthing like it would ROCK

Sadly, I've done that with both those games as well as Fire Emblem. I have barely touched my consoles for several months, but my SP and now DS are seeing much use. I can't stop playing Dawn of Souls.

Yeah, portable gaming is the salvation of the casual gamer. It's nice to be able to have a game between classes, or while waiting in line at the DMV, or any other situation when you'd rather be somewhere else.

how could anyone actually like this ugly shit?

Faith in humanity fades. :lol

anyway, I second the addictive portable gaming. No free moment goes by without me popping out my DS to play WarioWare.
