Mine's pending for the 15th. I don't know how they're dispersing this but I'm still employed as an "essential" worker (my work is in no way essential aside from fattening some jackasses pockets). So it's slightly annoying that I'm getting mine quickly when I frankly don't need it, yet there are probably millions who do need it more, and will get theirs way later.

I even made less than $10,000 last year because I got injured and couldn't go back to work. Can't go back now because urban reforestation isn't essential at the moment (plus we go door to door)

Checking our bank accounts, some banks tell you when things are pending days in advance. On the 17th the IRS is releasing a way to track it, though

Same here, I've been sitting in an office the last several weeks with nothing to do. I could work from home for the few emails I get but for whatever reason they want me here.
Haven't seen anything from the stimulus though. I haven't filed my taxes yet this year, should that matter? They have my bank info from previous years as I always do the direct deposit.

One time for now. There have been talks about an additional stimulus plan but no info yet on whether or not this includes direct payments to people.

None for me yet, but not sure if I/we will get any and if we do it will be one of the lower amounts. We filed our 2019 returns just a couple weeks ago so not sure if they'll use those or the 2018. I think we were a bit over the amount to get anything if they use 2018 and a bit under if they use 2019. Also not sure if they use the married or single numbers if you're married and file separately. Though that would just be minor difference as we made pretty similar amounts both years I think.
In any case, our jobs/incomes are unaffected by this so I don't need it and would likely donate all or most of it if I do get some. Our local "cheers" type bar has a go fund me and I'd give a good chunk there as so many are laid off while it's just being ran by the owner and one manager for carryout during this.

As someone who makes like $400 a week I am very, very annoyed that unemployed people are basically getting twice what I make for not working.

Let's see. I just paid 897 to the feds in taxes, 52 to the state for taxes, paid 53 dollars to the dentist, and I owe radiology 538 for a CT scan I had to get. So when I my stimulus comes through it will last me about 7 minutes.

Yeah I don’t get the logic here, why not $150 a week extra and make it last 4 times longer?
Seems like an obvious / safer / cheaper way to do this without the added FU to people not making much but still working.
Plus the effects of this will last A long time, now they’ll have to pass more stimulus if the shutdown persists.
