Having a fast car also gets you coaxed into racing/reckless driving, I would have guys revving their engines next to me often. I only raced one guy cos I don't know how to get all fast and furious.
I went down a country road in a BMW 325ix at around 90mph, lost control and rolled it into a graveyard. No driver's license, no seat belt, no real injuries.
Ain't no 325i doing close to 140
When I was young and stupid, I had a ZX-9R and wanted to see its top end one quiet Sunday afternoon. Went on our nice 4 lane highway, which was the only smart thing I did because there was only one car on my side of the median the entire time.
The speedo said 310kph, but it was probably only 280 or so. At that speed, you can hardly move the handlebars, man is there some downforce. I would've probably blown off if I had sat up, those MotoGP guys must have forearms the size of Popeye's.
Yeah, my recent speeding ticket I had to be flying at around 120 on the freeway that was 65 he clocked me at some crazy speed too. He wrote it on the notes part so I couldn't appeal the ticket but I guess I sweet talked him down to 80 if I remember right. Cheapest speeding ticket yet.Depends on the cop and how you behave when you're stopped. Hell, I know people who have gotten away with a warning for triple digit speeds.

Not downforce, but precession (or gyroscopic effect, I'm no physics expert).
But yeah, my worst is probably topping out my GSXR600. With Speedohealer, I got 150mph at redline 6th gear; -1/+2 sprocketed, so top speed was lower than stock gearing. This was on a road that had miles of visibility all around and no traffic; one house (far off the road, likely acres of property), but the guy sat outside watching us for almost an hour. When no cops came we assumed he was just enjoying the show.
I stayed tucked until ~120mph. Sitting up helped slow down like a damn parachute on those drag racing cars.
In before someone stealth brags with road head.My one ex desperately loved doing this, I couldn't deal with the distraction though.
Oh, man. I've done Vancouver to the Bay Area non-stop. Grueling drive. There are others speed related things, but driving while sleeping was the most dangerous.
