Don't understand the Meh's from other gaffers, I love this place.
I'm glad you like it. I can't speak for anybody else, but my inability to love the school certainly isn't for lack of trying. I don't know if my issues with it are unique to Northeastern or are more deeply rooted in the university system and higher education in general though.Don't understand the Meh's from other gaffers, I love this place.
Man, there really are enough of us to have a GAF meetup independent of Boston itself. What year are you in?damn, so many people here in this same school lol

Churchill College, Cambridge. The college is one of the newer ones (an angular brick and concrete... thing built in the '60s), so I might not be getting the 'proper' Cambridge experience, but on the other hand we're the closest college to the West Cambridge site where all my lectures are given.
also it's by far the best college for the course I'm doing

Damn that sucks, 60's college architecture is ass throughout the world, even in my school Thank god the recent stuff has gotten much better, and the older stuff is amazing.
What are you studying/did you study? Its nice
Why stay at the same school for your whole schooling? I personally wanted to experience a new school, by the time i graduated just for the sheer networking opportunities.
6 I think you guys missed me.Up to 5, renaming it to NorthGafstern university.
I'm also a second year student, albeit an English major.I transferred in to NEU after my freshman year, so I'm a sophomore/second year/whatever they call it. Econ/Math major. You?

I imagine you're planning to start your co-op soon. Good luck.

I just got done with my first co-op. I'm an Envi Sci major and worked at the Mass Clean Energy Center. Learned a lot, had a great time, got proffesional connections. It helps a lot. One of the senior co-ops got a chance to interview for a position there. Not sure if she got it yetNEUs Co-op program was a huge draw when the rep spoke at my high school. How much would you say it actually helps. Are the co-ops good quality?

What don't you like about it.
I'd also be up for a meetup, but it seems 2-3 of you are 2nd year which would imply you're under 21. Was hoping for a bar meet up. Connors!

I've run into problems on the administrative side that aren't worth going into here, but have soured my opinion of the school quite a bit. Outside of that, I'm not particularly fond of how my major is taught and structured. What don't you like about it.

And yeah, I'm not 21 either.
Wow that's awesome; internships in that field are hard to come by. You've definitely got a leg up when you hit the career hunt.
Coolio went there. Is your GPA similar too?
