Churchill College, Cambridge. The college is one of the newer ones (an angular brick and concrete... thing built in the '60s), so I might not be getting the 'proper' Cambridge experience, but on the other hand we're the closest college to the West Cambridge site where all my lectures are given.
also it's by far the best college for the course I'm doing

Northeastern University

city schools are GOAT, but RIP wallet
in my 3rd year

Don't understand the Meh's from other gaffers, I love this place.

I'll add, as others have said as well, that it's pretty interesting to see so many people from Northeastern here.

I checked out Northeastern when I was looking into PhD programs. I definitely liked it - but unfortunately, I wasn't going to be able to make it work given my situation.

I'm glad you like it. I can't speak for anybody else, but my inability to love the school certainly isn't for lack of trying. I don't know if my issues with it are unique to Northeastern or are more deeply rooted in the university system and higher education in general though.

damn, so many people here in this same school lol
Man, there really are enough of us to have a GAF meetup independent of Boston itself. What year are you in?

I transferred in to NEU after my freshman year, so I'm a sophomore/second year/whatever they call it. Econ/Math major. You?

Damn that sucks, 60's college architecture is ass throughout the world, even in my school Thank god the recent stuff has gotten much better, and the older stuff is amazing.

Why stay at the same school for your whole schooling? I personally wanted to experience a new school, by the time i graduated just for the sheer networking opportunities.

I mean rutgers has like 60,000 students and a shit ton of departments/faculty. It's also very underrated when it comes to academics. I'm not surprised he chose to stay at the school.

I'm also a second year student, albeit an English major.

I imagine you're planning to start your co-op soon. Good luck.

NEUs Co-op program was a huge draw when the rep spoke at my high school. How much would you say it actually helps. Are the co-ops good quality?

What don't you like about it.

I'd also be up for a meetup, but it seems 2-3 of you are 2nd year which would imply you're under 21. Was hoping for a bar meet up. Connors!

I just got done with my first co-op. I'm an Envi Sci major and worked at the Mass Clean Energy Center. Learned a lot, had a great time, got proffesional connections. It helps a lot. One of the senior co-ops got a chance to interview for a position there. Not sure if she got it yet

Yeah, going for one this Summer/Fall. Thanks!

Hah, not quite 21.

Wow that's awesome; internships in that field are hard to come by. You've definitely got a leg up when you hit the career hunt.

I'm floored no one has posted this one yet:

Victoria College @ UofT

Coolio went there. Is your GPA similar too?

I've run into problems on the administrative side that aren't worth going into here, but have soured my opinion of the school quite a bit. Outside of that, I'm not particularly fond of how my major is taught and structured.

And yeah, I'm not 21 either.

I definitely would have stayed at the same school the whole way through if I could have. Had my heart set on UMass' Master's program after finishing my Bachelor's there.
I wasn't accepted to it though, which messed up my whole plan. So, I ended up at Springfield College by way of Elms College (did a couple semesters there and then transferred)

What major?

Yeah, administration kinda sucks, NU shuffle and all that. I haven't had to deal with it too much thankfully.
