Fun fact, the guy that arranged(?) the Power Rangers theme song also did the X-Men 90's' cartoon intro music.

Cool. Classic for sure.

Asian guy seems to have a minor role in the movie based on the trailers. Surprise. I bet he's more of a ninja than the others too.

Was in Toys r us today and they had some of the movie toys, they look and feel extra cheap especially the power sword

I probably would have been excited about this if it wasn't for the over-saturation of super hero movies in the last five years. Nothing concerning these type of films excite me anymore. They all just mesh together at this point.

I bet they do what TMNT did and save it for the credits. That'll make those old people happy when they get through the entire movie.

They do but they are cheap as shit, they're the bottom of the barrel Bandai stuff and have been for a while (cept the expensive brand action figures set).

Amazing Japan gets this amazing detailed toys and tons of sound effect. But they turn out junk for the USA

I never liked Graeme Revelle's score for the the 95 Power Rangers movie, minus the main theme which was decent. It always bothered me that Ron Wasserman was deprived of doing the music. Dude totally deserves lots more recognition than he's gotten.

Betting it'll either only play in the credits, or the specific 'Go Go Power Rangers' chord will occasionally drop at random just to remind you that yes, this is a Power Rangers movie.

Actually playing the theme when the rangers morph, to allow no question of whether or not they're going to kick ass? Hell no, not with the tone they're going for. Which does suck immensely, yes.

I mean yeah, us Americans like our heroes as musclebound humunguloids, but I'm pretty sure those Japanese figures are the enthusiast-grade shit and not what's marketed to the kids.

It's true, those action figures are actually both for different audiences; but he would be correct if he compared the toys made for children, such as the Megazords and the Morphers.
