It is basically a game mag for kiddies, childish jokes, bad reviews etc.

I remember the review of Metal Gear Solid 2. They said Solid Snake died in that game...uh huh.

Do not take them too seriously...some kids will argue.

Yes, they are fake. At the magazine forum (http://forum.powerweb.nl) one of the editors just mentioned GTA SA will not be reviewed in the next issue. So the other scores must be made up as well.

I'm waiting for my copy to arrive today so i'll let you guys know if it's real.

They used to be pretty respected around here, until MGS 2 came around.

GTA:SA: 10 (Probably right, they love GTA)
Halo 2: 8.7 (Don't know, they are all Halo fans so, but could be the hype killing it.)
MP2: E: Score looks about right, and ofcourse the guy with the ninty tat reviewed it.

OK, so we have one person saying it got 8.7, and another saying it got 93%. Can someone who actually reads the mag tell us what scoring system they use? Percentages or decimals? That way we can at least discredit one of these over the other.

MP2 will probably be somewhere around there anyway. Most of the MP1 reviews were really high (IGN gave it a 9.8).

Unless of course they take off a few points if the multiplayer happens to suck. But thus far I've been hearing good impressions of it.

me too. It was good but it wasn't that good. I liked it enough though simply because of the okayish plot + twists. The numerous corridor repeats and same rooms should have more than knocked it down 1-2 points.

Yeah I still have the copy with that review in it, I thought it was like a 4.6, the reasons for the score are ridiculous. Fallout 2 also got a score between five and six...just...unbelievable

Power Unlimited lost my respect a long time ago, they are just fooling around, trying to make retarded jokes. Some games only get 1/4 of a page for review and often that whole space is dedicated to a rant of, for example, why they like mayonaise better with their fries than ketchup.

I'm a little confused as to how those original scores seemed so impossible to everyone... a 1.3 spread (on a scale of 1-10) seems like a perfectly credible range, and doesn't reflect negatively on a game at all.

I don't get all the PU hate around here. PU offers all that a gaming-magazine should offer nowadays; a fun read.

You can get all the news and reviews you want on the internet weeks before the magazines. Magazines can never compete with the internet on these issues, and should focus on being actually fun to read.
