REDWOOD CITY, CALIF. - August 19, 2004 - Konami Digital Entertainment - America, a division of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., today announced the song list for Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME (DDR EXTREME). Featuring more than 65 songs of heart-pounding dance music, DDR Extreme will get gamers grooving with the largest number of licensed tracks of any Dance Dance Revolution title released in the United States to date. This latest addition to the innovative, multi-million selling franchise will pump out beats from such artists as Duran Duran, Junior Senior, Pet Shop Boys and Village People, and will include hot remixes of popular songs such as "Ladies' Night," "Like A Virgin" and "Waiting For Tonight." Gamers can also dance to hit music videos like "Kids in America" and "Move Your Feet."

In addition to the pulse-pounding soundtrack, DDR EXTREME will allow players for the first time to become part of the game with gameplay that supports the EyeToy USB Camera for PlayStation2. Modes such as "Hands & Feet," "Clean the Screen," "Watch Me Dance" and a number of fun EyeToy mini-games will have gamers using their hands and feet to dance along to more than 100+ minutes of pulsating dance tunes.

"DDR is all about the music and that is why we spend so much time and effort ensuring that each new release will include the best possible collection of songs," said Jason Enos, product manager for Konami Digital Entertainment - America. "We know that this incredible selection of music will not only excite the long-time fans of DDR, but will also attract new fans to the dance craze."

DDR EXTREME is scheduled to ship in September 2004 for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. For more information on the game, please visit: www.konami.com/ddrextreme/

is beloved, despite what anyone might say
* Simply Being Loved "Somnambulist" , BT

The Sander Kleinenberg remix of this song is great...

Big thumbs up to the Reflex by Duran Duran. Great song by a great group! Dammit, I lost their greatest hits album..

Btw, does anyone know how much previous DDR games have sold, specifically the PS2 ones?

Oh fuck, an Oakenfold remix of "Planet Rock?"

TEARS! TEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARS!

Edit: I just noticed that this is the partial song list.... with barely any of the tracks from other Bemani games. Yeah, it says "not including hidden tracks" but I doubt they hid like 80 songs... That's kinda sucky. Man, playing stuff like "Jet World" reminded me why I really got into DDR. MAXXXXXXXX XTREME wasn't why, unfortunately. More fun, less trancy doubletime 400 bpm bullshit buckets of arrow songs, thx.

Woah, over 100,000 for ultramix? Not bad at all for a game that had no real following on Xbox, for a first effort :)

I might just have to buy this game now that I have seen the tracklist. I wonder how much a bundle with a dance pad would be?
