Pragmata |OT| Tactical Hacking Action

Great thread mate, but still don't know to get it. Looks kinda shit.
Electric Playground said it's a callback to prior gen Capcom games. A Gen we don't see a lot of anymore. I'd imagine it's got that type of feeling where the levels don't go on and on forever. Mini games like MGS VR missions. One thing I heard in the EP video was that there are a ton of unlocks and upgrades. The game feels like it gives you all the content. I'm looking forward to all the upgrades to weapons and armor.

I went back and played Lost Planet. It was fun once the enemies started popping up. I can't believe how impressed I was with the graphics at the time. We are definitely spoiled if you played a lot during the 360/PS3 gen. This should be a finer tuned third person shooter.

Yeah I just played the demo, the puzzle mid combat doesn't bother me like I feared. It actually turned out fun. Pre ordered this crap, can't wait for next midnight.

Have it since yesterday played only about an hour and its really fun. Seems to be coming with ray tracing and pssr on disc version 1.0 which i like as physical bro 🤣. Still has this annoying ray tracing shimmer with 1.0 and 1.2. can't wait to play tonight after my kids went to sleep 😅 life as a gamer dad is hard. Weirdly enough I can't activate high frame rate mode no matter disc or patched version. Don't know what this mode is about have a 120hz oled.

Enjoy the game everyone!

Unfortunately I'll skip as I thought the demo was ok, a bit repetitive and I am not really in the mood for a ~10 hour father-daughter story so will be saving money for Crimson Desert.

Also I'm a 8GB VRAM peasant so new games are increasingly risky to buy day 1.

Maybe one day.

Amazing OT , good work, love the gifs of the pre order items, where did you get them?
But YEAH was £35 from grey sites (Loaded) which are really legit codes from other regions, so no need to be aggy about it.

So got it there, but I noticed its only £41 on Amazon, thats a great price.
Hyped for this one after bouncing off Crimson Desert and Pokopia hard.

Need to know if the game is really as short and easy as some reviews say, waiting for feedbacks in here.
I wouldnt call it short. People said the same thing about RE9 and my playthrough was around 15 hours. This is around the same lenght with lots of things to do after the first playthrough

I rarely replay games so i mostly care about the amount of content in the first run only.

Copy shipped. Hopefully delivers by Saturday so I can put some hours on Sat and Sun.

Really looking forward to another capgod banger.

Same, but i replayed the demo 3 times so this might be different :) 14-15 hours is still great on first run
I'm super slow with games so everyone 10 hours are my 20+ hours, i'm more worried by the possible lack of challenge.
(Which of course is connected to the longevity a bit, a game with no friction is gonna feel shorter because you barely die).

Capcom track record in term of challenge for its last few games has been bad to say the least and they insist with not having an hard mode available for the first run...

Yeah well sadly this is the same. Only standard mode at first

I am activating my key in Steam. Ready to go.

Well, the Kinguin key does not work in America. Asking for a refund.
Got a Green Man key and activated it.

Just to clarify: this purchase provides you with account access containing the game, rather than a standalone digital key

Woah, 20-odd years using Steam and I've never heard of such a thing! :messenger_hushed: Wouldn't have posted if I did.

And there I was complaining I paid €41 yesterday for a key!

So basically, the link I posted, you pay €30 for access to some random persons Steam account and you play his/her copy?

No worries

I guess they send you the login info and then you change all the details in the account. After that the account and game is 'yours'

That said, this is pretty risky when it comes to buying or selling accounts. If the original owner (the seller) has receipts or proof of ownership, you're basically done for and they can reclaim the account

Exactly. You're not buying the game; you're paying for a login to a profile that isn't yours. And yes, the seller (or the original owner) can change the password and recover the account through Steam Support at any time.

The reason it's so cheap is simple: regional exploitation. These accounts are bulk-created in low-income regions like Vietnam or Kazakhstan where local pricing is heavily subsidized. By buying these, you're not just risking a ban; you're also abusing a system meant to make gaming affordable for people in developing economies. It's shady and ethically questionable.
