I preordered this from Best Buy and am getting my copy delivered by… DoorDash.
I don't even know what is going on anymore.
the truth? the child is a bit unsettling, period...Lol the child smiling like that is a bit unsettling![]()
Best Buy has same day delivery with Door Dash and the UPS-powered Roadie. I had to use it when my monitor shit the bed and I had to get one delivered in an hour for my job.I preordered this from Best Buy and am getting my copy delivered by… DoorDash.

that just seems like an RE Engine thing, that makes character faces look like that, in my opinion.the truth? the child is a bit unsettling, period...
good point. maybe it's the fact that it's a child that emphasizes the 'off', though i don't remember emily in requiem looking anywhere near as off as the pragmata girl does...that just seems like an RE Engine thing, that makes character faces look like that, in my opinion.
To me, all the modern Resident Evil character faces have an uncanny valley look about them. It has gotten better ofcourse. Mia in RE7 was like a mannequin, Grace in RE9 looks more real but still with a touch of uncanni-ness
I am ready the become a daddy

Support and encourage originality and new IPs we should.

I described it to a coworker as Man On Fire except the little girl is a robot and you are fighting robots that went crazy and she can hack them and you're a spaceman on the moon.![]()
is this the golden era of big-dad games?
Having a great time. The game is super polished and well done. Diana is great and the voice acting is very convincing. I like the controls, they are tight and responsive
The only thing that I am a bit worried about so far is the difficulty. I am playing on Standard and it's very easy
I hope there is more challenge moving forward
Japanese devs love locking hard mode behind bullshit requisites unfortunately.Oh maaaan...
I don't get why "normal" difficulty nowadays is actually a "very easy/go through the motions" one and when a game like Cronos the new dawn comes out with an ACTUAL "normal" difficulty setting (like those of yore) professional reviewers/journalists® all go "this shit is wrecking me up, too difficult, therefore we'll have to knock some points off from the final score" (and fucking with a game's sales in the process), it's like, people actively try to have less fun by playing their 70€ game by finishing it in half the time.
I've basically set my PS5 to start all my games on "hard" (from the console's options) exactly because of this - and there's STILL some games like death stranding 2 which is still piss easy on hard where it's literally impossible to die for fuck's sake.
Make games hard(er) again

Apart from the git gud gaming gods most people don't finish hard games (that is, hard for the sake if being hard) anymore. Returnal for example, only about 20% of its owners have actually finished it. Same goes for stuff like Sekiro. If I were a dev I'd wonder what's the point in making my game so hard the majority will just chuck it aside after a few days - not very rewarding tbh. I assume most gamers want a relaxing experience in front of their tv's, not a blood pressure raising grinding session resulting in the cost if a new controller.
And that's why majority of games have multiple difficulty modes so people can chose the type of experience they want.Apart from the git gud gaming gods most people don't finish hard games (that is, hard for the sake if being hard) anymore. That is exactly what i want from any game. It is entertainment. It is recreation. It is supposed to be my downtime, it is supposed to be relaxing, easy, fun. If i want stress, i get plenty of that from my work and family.I assume most gamers want a relaxing experience in front of their tv's, not a blood pressure raising grinding session resulting in the cost if a new controller.

Locking difficulty modes is straight up retardation with no logic excuse whatsoever.
