Played about a hour.

Enjoying so far , looks good Running Path Tracing and feels good to play so far. Forgot to update drivers so just done that now for next time i play.

Seems like its going to be a fun , easy short game. Nice break before i jump back into POE2 next league.
 
Even with FSR 3 (and ray tracing turned on but chromatic abberation turned off) the game looks BUSSIN on widescreen.

Anyone has an idea how to access the pre-order dlc costumes? I added the code i have access to Dianas and Hughs costumes but nothing shows up. When i go back to the playstore it shows i bought it via code but thats it. Quite annoying honestly.

Put it on casual mode then.

Game gives you a ton of tools and options. I'm 38. Don't think age matters.

Someone needs to tell this team at Capcom to get the ghost in the shell IP to make a game.

Press start on the game tile on the PS5 home menu and choose : "manage content", and you will see it there and you can download it. Same happened to me. That solved the issue for me
 
I just played 5 hours straight! Fuck me this game is super fun! The combat is fantastic and also like exploration.

Yeah she's great and even Hugh, that i thought was going to be a bit generic from the initial trailers, is a likeable character too.

My PS5 had 120 GB of space remaining, I inserted the game disc and it said not enough space to install. I cleared about 80 GB and it started installing and it's only 37GB and the update is only 1GB. Wtf is that about?
 
Not impressed by PT in this game. Considering that everything is mostly static and the time of day is fixed, I don't understand why raster and RT look so bad. The obvious win here with PT are the reflections, they make a big difference for sure. The good news is that it runs decently well with PT, ~120+ FPS with FG 2X maxed out.

The core gameplay is interesting for sure, but for now it's dead simple. They should make you sweat by putting much more pressure on you on how to manage the shooting and hacking, for now I'm just going through the motions since there is no real threat. But I'm only at the beginning, so we will see.

Yeah, the only place that sells such things within 30 miles or so. I did end up going there anyway for something else and saw that they had a tag for it so it's possible they did get like one copy and that already sold out this morning in the early a.m. or something. Also possible that didn't receive anything yet.
 
How is Switch 2 running for everyone? So sad that this is a Keycard. Going to have to go Ps5 - not as much of a problem as before now that I have the portal to Switchify my Ps5 though. Still would have preferred Switch as always but.. gotta pick this up.

Swiych 2 runs in the 30-60fps range, but mostly stays around 40-45fps according to the DF vid

I ended up getting my girl a RTX 5070 for her birthday and it came with a code for Pragmatic.

I was thinking about getting it on PS5 but free is free. I probably won't jump in until tomorrow though as I'm exhausted after work.
 
I've only just started the game and I've already got outfits for Huge and Diana. I can put her in ninja gear starting out.
Found 2 upgrade boxes in the first 60 min allowing me to upgrade the gun and the hacking by 1.
 
As expected, Amazon failed to deliver on release day yet again.

This time I got the "we attempted delivery today" bullshit.

The Walmart app seems to think they do have it in stock for pickup at my local store but yet it's not listed in the inventory. I'm going to go back and swing by after work one last time just to see if it magically appeared on shelves, it wouldn't be the first time. If not, I don't mind being stuck on Crimson Desert, the game is like a black hole for me.

You fellows are sufficiently hyping me up though in this thread.
 
How does this look and play on the Steam Deck? It is verified, but I have played verified games in the past that did not look or play too well.

And here it is, a couple of hours later magically hitting shelves after 9PM just like I suspected. It was probably sitting in a box somewhere all day instead of being on the Shelf like it's supposed to. Looks like I will probably swing by and grab it in an hour or so.

I just beat the 2nd boss, man this is blast, the combat and especially character movement feels fantastic.

They have a demo. I tried with FSR4 mod+LS FG 30 to 60fps and it looks and plays well. Only downside was it didn't do 800p fullscreen so you either have to play with letterbox or do vert stretch.

Defeated the first boss. Really fun game, and refreshingly unique too. Hugh and Diane are great. Looking forward to picking it back up tomorrow.
 
Grabbed it. Dude said they had received it on the 14th and whoever was working earlier just never put it out. So he had to check the back after some convincing that it might be there due to their inventory suggesting it.

I'm glad people like it but I'm a little underwhelmed by it. It looks "nice" is the most I can say but after seeing what's possible with Cyberpunk, AC Shadows and Crimson Desert I would hope Capcom would deliver better on the Pro.

The rt reflections i was expecting to be a lot better. Has some of that same ugly artifacting seen in other games. Capcom has really ticked me off with RE9 and how they removed RT for half the damn game. First game showing off the new pssr and the RT is ugly and noisy. Not a great look.

It's like ....they know they fucked up RT with Re9 on Pro so why wouldn't they make sure their next game doesn't have similar problems?
 
Looks like I have to pick this up on Monday now.

Funny how people aren't complaining about the hacking in the combat system anymore lol.
 
Fuck it. Just purchased the deluxe digital version so I can play this tomorrow. I'm double dipping already!
